Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
SAP SuccessFactors is our ATS. We use SAP SuccessFactors to store our employee data, recruiting, onboarding, and learning. SAP SuccessFactors allows us to have everything in one place making it user-friendly. We have implemented some BOTs to help with the automation of some onboarding task that make for a better candidate experience. Also, being able to set business rules to trigger an email keeps us in communication with our new hires.

- For some setting, it is all or nothing. It would be nice if we were able to customize the setting a little more. Particularly when it comes to what is carried over from the candidates profile to onboarding. We need the SSN to carry over, but we do not want that to happen for our Canadian new hires. Not being able to do this has caused the SSN to wipe out a lot, meaning we have to retrigger the i-9 sometimes multiple times for the new hire.
- We have candidates complete part two of their application after they accept the offer. Currently, when they complete part two or make any update to their profile, we receive a notification that they took action. It would be nice if we could have a different notification just for when part two of the application is finished.
- ONB 2.0 took away some of the ability to have admins on the front end, such as resetting passwords. That was definitely needed and has caused more work for the HRIS team now that we need it to be completed on the backend.
- ONB 2.0 also took about the ability for us to change the start date in ONB after the new hire completed the paperwork. It was easier and more efficient for the admin to complete it verse again, needing to wait for our HRIS team.

We recently implemented onboarding 2.0 over the summer and while the candidate experience has been greatly improved, it seems we are facing a lot more administrative errors and issues around onboarding. There were a few administrative changes that happened between ONB 1.0 and 2.0 that made it not as functional.
I cannot really compare. This is used for for expense reports and scheduling travel.
