Overall Satisfaction with Scale Computing Platform

We needed to update our internal IT infrastructure. We were looking in the market for a hyper-converged solution that was easy to install and operate, and that offered security and high availability features. Scale Computing Platform delivered all the required requirements with a product containing all the necessary functionalities for our daily operations and excellent support service. Our daily operation is intuitive, allowing you to perform tasks such as creating and protecting VMs with just a few clicks using the graphical interface.

  • Snapshot capabilitys helps with cloning for testing
  • It doesn't have an area where you can view the cluster's resource consumption over time, only the current consumption.
  • It does not have integration with the leading backup players in the market, requiring the installation of agents on individual VMs.
Scale Computing Platform support is excellent, with easily accessible technicians who are willing to resolve your issues. The team provides clear and detailed instructions and is willing to participate in meetings to identify and explain the causes of the ticket, sharing valuable knowledge that enhances our operations, every support ticket that we had openend had a great response from Scale Computing Platformteam.
We have all our applications running on the HC3 platform, with the advantage of having a hyper-converged infrastructure. This allows us to perform maintenance and updates on our systems without causing downtime in our environment. We have the freedom to carry out updates during the week, and we don't need to sacrifice weekends for these operations. Our applications include the central management system, intranet, financial systems, human resources systems, development and test environments.

Scale Computing Platform proves to be excellent in environments that require a hyper-converged infrastructure with daily functionalities, and for organizations with remote locations that want to implement on-premises resources without the need to set up a data center. The HC3 software has all the functionalities for the operation and management of its resources, with easy-to-follow and operate workflows, and it has a low learning curve.

User Experience with Scale Computing

Scale Computing Platform HC3 have a very simple and easy to use User Interface, you can manage all resources from a single GUI on any web browser, you can use tags to identify and peform operations on all VMs selected, its a very easy to understand software, everyone can operate it.
We had noticied that the HC3 System Usage was about 30 Gb of RAM for each node, we oppenned a ticket with Scale Computing Platform support team to ask what could be causing this issue, they advised us to update the software. However, the memory consumption did not decrease. After that, Scale Computing Platform team assisted us in evacuating the nodes and restarting them to make the upgrade take effect. After performing this operation, the memory consumption dropped to 13 GB.
