Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect

I use ScreenConnect to remote into our company's workstations for troubleshooting. I also use it to monitor our servers and applications when I am away from the office. It is used by the IT/Bank Operations department to assist users in several locations.
  • I like the web based GUI and the layout of the web page. It is very intuitive to use.
  • I also like the statistics that it provides for the workstations. In particular, the uptime and versioning information is very useful to me.
  • A few weeks ago I would have recommended improvement to the access layout for the workstations but that has been fixed in the latest release. It is now much better as I can view more of my workstations at a glance.
  • I have not had a chance to utilize the meeting functionality yet, but that will be a nice addition.
  • I am the only internal tech support person supporting multiple locations. Having access into those workstations remotely has saved me many miles and time on the road.
I use a MSP to assist with some of the troubleshooting that might arise. Initially, they let me use their remote software (I don't remember the company) but because of security concerns, had to limit my access. They replaced their remote access software with ScreenConnect. I started to investigate and had experience with Remote Access, TeamViewer, TightVNC, and LogMeIn. Since I don't have a very large user base, ScreenConnect had the best price point. And since my MSP was already using ScreenConnect on our workstations, I was able to run my local installation in parallel with theirs without any conflicts. The tech support has been outstanding with prompt return call and emails.
Right now I have a pretty specific use for just the remote access functionality and it works very well, especially with many of my users that have multiple monitors.
