Overall Satisfaction with Twilio SendGrid Marketing Campaigns

SendGrid is used primarily by our sales and marketing teams to run mini campaigns out of Salesforce. We also use it for some member communication.
  • SendGrid is incredibly easy to use and implement.
  • SendGrid provides an inexpensive tool that the sales team can leverage for high ROI.
  • SendGrid has great support and has been willing to work with us on all our needs.
  • SendGrid is a little too basic and therefore has not replaced all the functionality we need in Marketing Cloud/Exact Target.
  • It's very inexpensive for what you get, so your communication costs drop dramatically.
  • It integrates well with third parties so cost of systems support is a non-factor.
I've used MailChimp and Mandrill as well. Neither is as easy or effective as SendGrid.
SendGrid features a more powerful dashboard and better analysis than other comparable platforms. It has a slightly more expansive feature set and higher limits on the free tier. Custom domain branding makes for an easy to implement solution. SendGrid provides libraries for integration in many languages and was easy to do so with excellent documentation.
