Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

We use SharpSpring on a daily basis, and use it as a tool internally as well as a tool to sell to our clients. Currently, our sales, marketing, and administrative staff use SharpSpring for its marketing, sales management, and performance tracking capabilities. The problem that this software solves was our need to have a tool that our entire team could use a single tool to help the Sales and Marketing teams truly work together. As we are all aware, there is always a point of contention between sales and marketing. Because of SharpSpring, Sales can hold Marketing accountable, and visa versa. It's a truly pleasurable tool to use on all fronts.

  • The mobile app really does need to be redone, it's not functional for a sales person.
We had presentations from three different CRMs including SharpSpring. Our presentation from HubSpot seemed like we were a burden for taking up their time and they sent us through a pre-made boilerplate PowerPoint presentation and asked if we wanted to move forward on the spot. Salesforce seemed like it was too much for what we needed. SharpSpring made a customized presentation with our logo, asked us questions first, and then guided the conversation and made us feel like our time with them was valued and they did a fantastic job of explaining the software as we would ACTUALLY use it, not just what the bells and whistles are.

The only reason why it is not a 10 is because of the mobile app. Our sales team simply does not use it because it is not easy to use and not build with user experience in mind. It's challenging to actually make notes in the system and is pretty much only made for looking something up on a clients profile before you walk into their office. It's not an intuitive application.
They offer fantastic webinars on how to grow your agency, they join calls and they help make presentations to help you sell. I enjoy the experience of working with our representative and really like how I can call SharpSpring when I have a question about the software. They have a good resource of questions online and they have some really impressive online tutorials.
We have found it to be best used for an organization that is in the middle market that currently has a CRM, but is outgrowing their current software. This is not for a large organization, but that in-between company that is getting dangerous with drip campaigns and automation. I highly recommend that if you are looking to expand your current capabilities to check out SharpSpring. If you are looking for a tool as your "first CRM," look at free options first and then come to SharpSpring when you can appreciate the software.
