Overall Satisfaction with SignNow

Membership organization using SignNow for sending and capturing acknowledgment on Constitution and Bylaws with a signature.
The form is saved as a PDF. The membership data is collected through the form.

  • Sends Completed forms to sub-folders on OneDrive.
  • Works with Stripe.
  • Poor editing capability - have to re-write the entire form to make one little text.
  • Too expensive.
  • No smart features like filtering tools.
  • Has limited payment options.
  • Created more manual work.
  • Helps create PDF membership Forms and saves it to OneDrive.
  • Can embed link to the form in email/CRM.

Straight forms that never change. If you need to make any text changes at any time it will take you hours to redo the form again from scratch. Not a great experience.

It also does not automatically send a payment request after the form is completed by the user.
Just saying it needs a lot more features.

Using SignNow

President, Vice President, Manager of Operations, Billing Department, Sales and Marketing, and Administration.
Basically, we all use it.
We need to capture new members contact information and details, and then bill them for membership. Then save the completed form and payment receipt to a folder on the hard drive or cloud.
We do not have any in-house IT support.

  • Embed link to Form within automated emails.
  • Save PDF to sub-folders.

The features are too limited. The biggest issue though is the flexibility for editing existing forms without having to create a whole new form. The other issues are its payment partner options, lack of automation, and logic flow. We plan to quit this software and use other software in its place.

Evaluating SignNow and Competitors

Since we were a startup we knew we needed something like DocuSign and this program was more economical. So we went with basic capability and Product Reputation to give it a try. We've been using it for several months now. It is dependable, but just too rigid for our needs.
If I had to pick this kind of software again I would have tried many of the freemium software options that are available, until I found one that I liked for its features and flexibility. Then upgrade to a paid account. SignNow did not have a robust enough free level to try out.
