Overall Satisfaction with Slack
We use Slack at our organization for in house coordination on projects and day to day activities. It allows us to communicate instantly with other teams or individual team members. We also use integrations with other platforms such as Google Docs/Sheets and MailChimp. We can instantly send documents or reports to each other. We can also video chat with each other when one of us is away but we need to coordinate on something right then. The instant communication has allowed us to solve multiple issues quickly and efficiently as well as improved communication throughout the entire organization.
- User friendly interface, easy to learn, easy to manage.
- Great communication on new or improved features, such as suggesting to integrate your Google account when you share a link from your Google Drive.
- Useful and intuitive integrations with other communications platforms such as live chat and video chat.
- The app on my iPhone doesn't function properly sometimes. There have been times when notifications don't come through or history from activity on my desktop is not remembered.
- We have been able to improve our staff training and increase our leadership teams knowledge to more efficiently complete projects/tasks.
- We have been able to connect all our retail locations to improve customer service.
- Overall, the improvements in communication throughout our business as enabled us to run more effectively and efficiently.
We have not explored any other options, we fell in love with Slack right after downloading the free version.
