Overall Satisfaction with Splashtop

Our IT department uses it to remote all of our campus machines to support end users. This helped up the remote onto users' machines to solve issues. This saves us a lot of time. We didn't have to run around campus to physically get on the machines. We also used it for some patching of updates when our deployment solution was down.

  • Remote support
  • Software inventory on machines
  • Remote patching
  • Remote software installs

  • I think all it functions worked very well
  • Saves technicians time so they don't have to run around campus.
  • Can easily push updates, software to machines.
  • Can get a working inventory of the software installed on each campus machine.
I found it very easy to connect and get support from Splashtop. When I had issues with the software I could reach out to the Splashtop help desk and get a reply usually within an hour.
All connections are protected with TLS and 256-bit AES encryption. Splashtop also comes with top security features including device authentication and two-factor authentication.
The onboarding was a quick and easy process. All we needed was the online console set up and branded for the college. Once this was set Splashtop give access to create custom installs and we deployed the software to all of the campus machines with a deployment solution. Once that was complete I added the technicians to the Splashtop console and set their permissions. I think it took less than a week to be fully deployed and functional.
Yes - We replace GoToAssist and went to Splashtop. GoToAssist did not have all the functions and features we had with Splashtop. It was a much better system and seemed to be easier to manage. Overall Splashtop has many more functions.

With Splashtop SOS Unlimited, technicians can access unlimited attended
computers and mobile devices, as well as unlimited unattended computers. The file transfer drag and drop feature works very well. I don't feel like there is any scenario where it is less appropriate. All the functions are a benefit and can make it much easier on the technicians.
