Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

Customer service is responsive, and there is an assigned specialist, but that specialist has changed 3 times in 18 months.
Portal is a little convoluted, and TriNet needs to get some kinks worked out in its new version, but it seems to do everything I need.
TriNet is being used as an outsourced payroll and benefits company for our small but growing consulting practice. It allows us to focus on the work itself and not worry about the details of administering these important but distracting aspects of our business. We also have more (and better) choices than our business had negotiating on its own. We are a small company but we have employees located all around the country. We needed a solution that provided payroll and benefits support everywhere, and TriNet fit the bill. And I saved more in the first year than I was expecting!
  • Good choices for benefits available anywhere in the country.
  • Central portal where all TriNet functions can be managed effectively.
  • Specialists assigned to my company available via email and telephone.
  • Sometimes it can be a little hard to get quick turn around on special requests or particularly out-of-the ordinary problems.
  • A new portal is being deployed now and its introduction has been a little bumpy.
  • TriNet has allowed us to focus more on the business and not its administration.
  • TriNet has definitely allowed us to streamline and consolidate our administrative activities.
  • TriNet has paid for itself in lower benefits cost.
We selected TriNet based on a compelling set of features, a strong recommendation and reasonable cost. We did not really compare it to other products.
TriNet seems well suited to small companies wanting competitive benefits offerings at affordable prices and administrative simplification to take the burden of payroll administration and processing off its own shoulders. My business is small, but it seems like the support could easily scale to larger businesses.
