Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use Trinet across our organization because we do not have an in-house HR department.
  • TriNet does a good job of communicating local employment law and policy changes.
  • TriNet offers HR-related webinars that are relevant and full of good, useful content.
  • TriNet is responsive to feedback from its clients. We appreciate the attention that has been given and the efforts to resolve any issues our company has experienced. We have found Trinet to be very committed to client satisfaction.
  • TriNet's employee website has evolved into a useful tool for finding HR and payroll-related information.
  • I appreciate the availability of the in-house counsel to provide general feedback on legal questions. It doesn't replace our own lawyer but it is a great starting point to have.
  • TriNet's benefits tool has improved recently and lays out the financial implications of company options during open enrollment in a way that facilitates management's decisions.
  • I would like to see better formatted accounting reports for the monthly payroll.
  • One-on-one website training would be helpful. Once I find areas of the website they tend to be useful, but that doesn't help until I know they are there.
  • We have experienced some back-end issues. Some have been resolved quickly, but others seem to take longer than necessary to resolve. For example, one issue took 10 months to resolve and there wasn't proactive communication about the status over that period.
We currently have an excellent HR associate who communicates well and works hard to resolve any issues that come up. In the past, we had experienced issues with the service we were getting, but Trinet was very responsive to our concerns. Despite the good communication we receive, it does seem that some of the issues take longer to resolve on the back-end than we would like, which can be frustrating.
80% of the time I can find what I am looking for on the website. We have had some issues with the newly integrated time off system that has been frustrating for our users. However, the idea of having everything available to them online is excellent, and we hope the wrinkles have been ironed out for 2019.
  • TriNet helps us to focus on the numbers of running our business by taking care of the payroll and benefits information for us. This is a time-saver for us, and one that we highly value.
I wholeheartedly recommend TriNet if someone is looking for a full-service solution. For anyone looking for less than this, I feel the price could be an issue. And from first-hand experience, I know a client's satisfaction is going to vary a lot depending on their account associate. We are lucky to have a fantastic one at the moment who I would recommend without hesitation.
