Overall Satisfaction with TriNet
TriNet is our HR system of choice. It is used to onboard new employees, house employee data, and process payroll. We also use it for reporting.
Pros
- TriNet makes onboarding really easy. The new I9 process is great. IoT is great because you can update the system before their start date.
- Payroll is a breeze with TriNet. As 1st-time user I was really worried, but it was so simple and so user-friendly. I really appreciate the format/design.
Cons
- Accuracy in information housed. I have had a hard time getting my companies PTO time to update correctly. It does not calculate CO time correctly and it is not easy to update.
- Reporting. While it seems to have improved with the new use of the workforce analyst tool, it still is not easy to run reports.
- TriNet has had a huge positive impact on our payroll. It's quick, simple, and easy to process time cards.
I have used Bamboo in the past as well as PeopleSoft and other HR systems. TriNet by far is the easiest to maintain and follow. It has lots of capability, and I do not think we even leverage all the tools and capabilities it has to offer. Before, we were very manual in our process and using an independent payroll system. TriNet houses all the important data I need at my fingertip and allows my employee's easy access to the things they need I.e paystubs, W2's etc.

Yes - The Time Keeping system is never correct. I have reported many issues with this portion of TRINET. This is my on dissatisfaction
MY case manager for TRINET was out of the office and I had major payroll issues around the Holiday's. I left her a message and she not only made sure she had her back up reach out to me but the next day, which was New Year's eve, Dani worked tirelessly all day to ensure she understood my issues and get them resolved so that my employees did not have payroll Issues. Service like that is what earns my loyalty to a product and company.
