Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Vendors
We use TrustRadius to help generate high-quality reviews and have their intent data feed into our ABM platform, Demandbase, via their integration.
Pros
- Robust Review capabilities.
- Good Intent Data for product categories for Account Based Marketing.
Cons
- You'll have to consider how many questions you should ask - and pay attention if the drop off rate is unusually high.
- I've noticed that some customer reviews don't get published. It's unclear whether vendors can influence that or not. TrustRadius claims that vendors can't buy reviews, but there seems to be an odd correlation between paying vendors and the rate at which reviews are disqualified.
- We increased the visibility of our customer references and showcased them in various campaigns.
- The intent data, which flows into Demandbase, our Account-based marketing platform, has contributed to the overall success of our ABM initiatives, which in turn has directly resulted in increased pipeline.
- The review experience for customers can be quite troublesome.
The product and category intent flow both into Demandbase, which intent signals are scored on an account-level, as well as directly into LinkedIn advertising audiences themselves.
While the reviews can be more robust than other platforms, it takes too long for them to be published, and we've documented a few cases where customer reviews are "disqualified" for some undisclosed reason. This is a problem since we asked them to invest a lot of time into the process of answering the questions.
We don't believe that review (and intent data) platforms should be mutually exclusive. It's a bit tougher to show up in rankings on G2 and other sites than it was for us to be here on TrustRadius. Ultimately, vendors should have the means to manage their own reviews and testimonials independent of any review website.
Some review sites sell fake "leads", which usually don't end up buying anything.

Are you happy with TrustRadius for Vendors's feature set?
No
Did TrustRadius for Vendors live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of TrustRadius for Vendors go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy TrustRadius for Vendors again?
Yes
Instead of having our sales development representatives calling upon ice-cold prospects, we orchestrated outbound tactics that factored in the intent data provided by TrustRadius into the selection criteria. This resulted in tripling the volume of set first time meetings with prospective customers.
Value of Reviews
The primary advantage of the rigorous reviews is that we can now leverage them to use as collateral in marketing campaigns. The content quality was much better than the ones we get from other review platforms.
