Overall Satisfaction with Ubiquiti Networks UniFi
We utilize Ubiquiti Networks UniFi both hardware and software solutions for our office uses. We use the network features, the door access system (Access), and the camera system (Protect). All of the technology needs that our company needed we got to have in one in house solution. It was so easy to set up and install that we were even able to do it in house with very little experience in network installations.

- Some features are locked behind the 'legacy' network settings
- Door access reader pro (with camera) doesn't sync to the protect app
- Network infrastructure

- Ease of management
- We saved around $90,000 from going with a vendor who would have installed all these network & security options
- Management / Administration time has been very low to iron out any bugs
- Ubiquity being one integrated system saves a lot of time in administration
Cisco is a much more industry standard integrated solution. However with that comes a lot of bloat & a lot of settings that just aren't needed. UniFi is really a great competitor because it's so light that you could use this solution in your house if you really had the drive (and the budget!).
