Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a user of UKG Pro on the Employee side. I have utilized this for onboarding, pay stubs/pay requests, annual and semi-annual review periods, and getting tax documents. This product addresses onboarding and payroll problems within my current company, as well as manages our review process. My scope is mainly surface level and utilizing the gathering of documents and entering my reviews and working with my manager on submitting reviews.

Pros and Cons

Multiple steps to update some information
Too many tabs, could be condensed to be clear where to find information

Increased employee performance through annual MDPs and tracking
Improved time management of HR employees tracking and maintaining employee files
Time savings importing mass data

Centralization

Onboarding and benefits cost has been centralized into UKG Pro and this has greatly benefits time saving, which in turn increased cost savings over time. It has also saved a lot of time receiving calls from employees with questions, as they can see all of their information right in UKG Pro.

UKG Personal Experience

UKG Pro has directly impacted me and my team by allowing us to easily perform annual reviews, track progress on reviews, and finalize them for merit increase consideration. It has brought an ease the process within the team so it's very transparent and causes less stress when the review period comes around each year.

Alternatives Considered

Paychex Flex and Paylocity

UKG Pro is much more user friendly than both previous HRIS and payroll systems I've used in the past. The others are less streamlined and include multiple more steps to complete a task than UKG Pro does.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think UKG Pro is great for all size organizations due to the user friendly nature of the program. It is fairly easy to navigate and doesn't require much training for someone not as familiar with technology. It may lack some additional steps needed for highly complex organizations with large networks, but I think overall it would be a great contribution to manage payroll and annual reviews.
