Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

Ultipro is used internally for payroll processing, HR transactions, performance management, time keeping, reporting, and other internal uses. It is also used as an employee portal for employees to make changes to their personal info, update tax forms, keep track of time sheets and make time off requests.

With Ultipro, we have been able to automate multiple HR processes that has given the time back to our HR team to focus on more strategic initiatives. They no longer have to worry about status changes, benefit changes and updates, launching performance reviews and several other features that we have been able to automate through Ultipro.
99 percent of the time, Ultipro runs at an acceptable speed. There are times during payroll processing when multiple people are working in Time Management and processes are slowed, but they are few and far between when this actually causes an issue.
We have had a few issues lately because of mistakes we made during open enrollment and Ultimate Software had multiple people from several departments willing to jump in and help. They always go above what would typically be required and our company greatly appreciates that partnership.
During a rough payroll after open enrollment, when our HRIS team member used a few incorrect dates to bring in new benefit rates, the support team spent hours on the phone with us to help clear the issues and roll back a few changes to allow us to process payroll correctly and avoid having to do hundreds of refunds or corrections to checks.
Sometimes it take a little creativity to fully utilize Ultipro to its fullest extent. For example, we are a University that must keep track of which current courses faculty are credentialed to teach and have the ability to recall this information at any time, as needed. There is no real place for this built in to Ultipro, however, there are plenty of opportunities within the system that can be utilized for this purpose. Our company uses an area that is setup as "Skills" and use it to keep track of all current courses. We can then assign this to employees, mass update it for hundreds of employees at once and also utilize the robust reporting platform (Business Intelligence) to report on current faculty and the courses they are able to teach.

UltiPro Training

Ultimate Software wants their users to be able to utilize Ultipro's functionality and they do that brilliantly with a wide variety of FREE training classes. There are flexible, self paced classes that you can take at your leisure as well as 3-4 hour instructor led courses that allow you to learn and practice what you are learning while having an expert guide you through the different lectures. They do a great job of offering online training and executing them.

Using UltiPro

I feel like our organization has dedicated so much time in learning the system and adding new modules that it would be a waste to switch over. Although there are occasional issues, the Ultipro support staff is quick to help and that customer service is very important and makes the experience worth it.

UltiPro Reliability

We utilize Ultipro at an expanding University and the ability to utilize mass updates and imports to update employee data as locations change is incredibly helpful. We also enjoy the ability to automate functions such as performance reviews, populate data during the new hire process and notifications during onboarding which help prevent data entry errors and keeps everyone updated on diffferent processes happening.

Relationship with Ultimate Software

It is a constant partnership with Ultipro. The ability to submit tickets via the customer portal and the communication that follows is always helpful. There are times when a certain case can take longer to be acknowledged, but there have been numerous times where it is not just the original account manager involved but several other team members from Ultimate Software who jump in to help solve a problem. We also appreciate the newsletters that updates our company on changes/updates coming to the software as well as the outreach from our relationship manager to ensure our needs our met.
