Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

I've used UltiPro for many years; with my previous company I used it mainly for onboarding with new hires and benefits. The onboarding process is extremely helpful, especially with everything carrying over from their application when you go to hire them. At my current job, I use UltiPro every day for various things such as benefits, reporting, etc. It's very easy to use and easy to understand. The training portal they offer is incredibly helpful as well.
  • Onboarding for hiring employees is well done. When you hire someone from their application, that data is saved for actual processing into UltoPro. It's great when hiring a lot of candidates and not having to type in all of their information several times.
  • The training center is incredibly helpful for a huge amount of things regarding UltiPro. From Business Intelligence to general stuff, it's well taught and very easy to learn.
UltiPro is well suited for what our company uses it for. It's great for maintaining records, having dates on whenever there is a change made to an employee. Also, in regards to open enrollment, it's very easy for the employees to make selections and complete their selections in an easy way that isn't too complicated. Not as easy task for something as potentially complicated as benefits.

Using UltiPro

105 - A lot of them are employees who use it for simple day to day tasks such as updating their employee profiles, contacts, beneficiaries, etc. About 10 of us use UltiPro in a much more complicated way. We set up benefit enrollment, process the changes that employees submit, etc. On both sides of the coin, both as an employee and administrator, UltiPro is very easy to use.
4 - Patience is definitely important, especially when learning the system for the first time.

UltiPro Training

UltiPro is very user friendly. It only do you have tabs, there are sub tabs underneath to further dive in. Would recommend it highly.

The online training is very good; it covers a wide variety of subjects and the time options to take the courses are pretty flexible for a working person. They also have classes that don't have a specific time to take them which is nice as well. All the teachers I have had all made the class enjoyable, no matter the length. Not an easy task for a four hour class!
Our HRIS manager who trained me on stuff from day one is extremely knowledgeable. She is very patient and explains things in a way that makes sense but not in a way that it feels like she is patronizing me. It's very helpful having her train and point out training online that would be helpful to further my own knowledge in this area.

UltiPro Support

I have not had to use support much but when I have, they are pretty quick about getting back to me and answering my questions. Sometimes, it would be nice to know what they did to fix the issue instead of having them just fix it. While I appreciate them fixing it, it would be nice to know if it was something I did wrong that caused the issue or something in the software. Only criticism there.

While advanced report writing can be difficult, I found the rest of it to be user friendly

UltiPro Reliability

We are a global company and we are using Ultimate Software in many differnt companies in Africa. We can alter the language, and have it set up where all our country leaders can use this software. This is a huge deal for our company as it allows us to do global reporting that is accurate.
