Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro

UltiPro is being used right now for payroll, along with onboarding and recruiting. Payroll has helped to streamline internal processes and make a start to finish procedures easier. Onboarding and recruiting have made a world of difference for our new employees, from applications to background checks, and then the new hire paperwork makes our new employees feel at ease.

Pros

  • Rapid Response Support Team is AMAZING!
  • The launch team is very knowledgeable not only in UltiPro but in HR as well.
  • Administrators can maneuver around the back end with ease.

Cons

  • There are a little too many system enhancements; once you are used to something, it gets a facelift, and you need to re-learn it all over again.

Currently, we have not been able to accomplish either. The launch of UltiPro was smooth; however, building out your launch does not include historical uploads of past year data, which is helpful for both managers and executive management. This process has slowed the launching of other more employee and manager facing modules that would be a considerable cost and time saver. An example is WFM time cards. Those are accessible via your cell phone app; however, the build-out of those with internal systems you may have requires a lot of back ends internal work from development/programming experts.
There can sometimes be issues between the core UltiPro and its other moduels.
The support team is hands down 100% without a doubt, the best feature of UltiPro!
There are honestly too many times to count that I have run into a question I could not answer or an issue that came up that I needed assistance with that I needed to reach out for support. The support team member was Ashley Ellis, and that girl was out of this world amazing and helped me through all of our back and forth.
Onboarding and recruiting can work for any company, WFM (time cards) and TOA (vacation requests) really should be thought out to see exactly how your company can use them. They are a great tool, but only if your company has the development team actually to make them work well.
