Overall Satisfaction with Vena

We use Vena as a workflow tool to support and administer several FP&A and operational processes in our organization. It is currently used by our corporate accounting, corporate finance, and operational finance departments. We are in the process of expanding to operations, as well. The tool has solved the problem of needing to share and email spreadsheets and has standardized processes that had too much variation.

They were very supportive through the sales process by providing great communication and allowing us to speak with references. They also connected us with their partner during the sales process to discuss the challenges we would face both during implementation and once we go live. The support model is wonderful as well and one of the best I've experienced from a SaaS company.
It has allowed us to be more agile by being to produce reporting, particularly ad hoc reporting, much more quickly. Most importantly, it increased the confidence of the accuracy of the reporting for both the producer and consumer of the different reports. Having reports ready when needed has allowed us to make business decisions much more rapidly.
Ultimately we decided on Vena because of the Excel interface which we knew would improve adoption. We also like the platform agnostic integration and easy-to-use web interface. The OLAP cube was also appealing to allow for a variety of pivoted reports.

Vena is a great fit for any process that utilizes excel and involves folks email data back and forth and collaborating. It is a great solution for processes where data is stored in a decentralized manner. It is also great for processes that need a structured workflow that is repeated regularly.
