Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

We used Webex to connect the department for regular meetings. The people attending the meetings were spread out, either at home, across the city, or in other countries. We used it not only to share the voice call, but to also allow the offsite folks to join virtually. This makes the meeting more productive because you get to interact with the team and not just listen to them.
  • Voice calls.
  • Video calls.
  • Sharing meeting materials (presentation) so that others can view it in real-time.
  • The software was slow to load.
  • Some outside users could not open the program, or were physically prevented by security settings on their local machines.
  • I have no idea. I don't know what we paid to use it.
I think Webex is about the same in terms of functions, compared to the others listed at the top of this. If you think about it there are only so many things that a screen share meeting platform can do. That being said Webex is heavier and slower to load than some the web based version of google meets or GoToMeeting.
I have never had to call in for support, email someone for support or put in a ticket with the help desk for this product. I think that speaks volumes about the product. That being said there is not a N/A button for me to click so being that I never used it I am going to stick with the 5.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

I have never had an instance where I was unable to use the product because it was offline for a planned outage. Nor have I see any instances of errors beyond something that I might have caused, can't find the mic or a camera issue on my laptop. It was always available for me when I loaded the program.
When I worked for VRBO everyone at the company used Webex to share screens or host meetings. This of course made things easy because you never had to wonder where the meeting was going to be held. We would simply look in the email for the webex meeting number or check the calendar.
For me once the software loaded everything inside the suite was quick to load. There was not a lot of lag when trying to share or load pages, in the specific cases where there was lag it was normally an issue with the end users internet connection. This made it easy to make the folks on the phone or not in the room feel like they were viewing the same presentation.
I think it's suited for large group gatherings. It also works well with small groups who need face time, but are not located in the same area or time zone. As I said earlier, being able to see and talk to folks is very helpful when trying to solve issues.
