Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Webex Meetings is very good for holding large company meetings. It can handle large numbers of attendees and works well over an office or a remote network connection. I've used it both as a corporate solution and as a company solution. It really solved the business problem of having everybody (or everybody from my company and clients) on an online meeting at the same time - with the ability to speak and hear clearly, present materials, and record the meeting. Also, the question submission feature in Webex [Meetings] is great.

  • Keep enhancing the integration with Microsoft Office platform
  • Keep updating product offering to keep up with Microsoft Teams
  • Keep working on audio quality for variable connections
  • It has enabled me to get together with prospects and clients easily.
  • It allows for [the] recording of trainings so that people who weren't able to join can leverage content.
  • It can be great for replaying a complex technical issue where screens in action need to be observed - or displaying how to solve a problem step by step.
  • It has allowed my team to get together with remote resources and share information for Marketing campaigns including designs, with ability for presenters and attendees to interact.
Across Marketing anybody who needed to run a meeting used WebEx. This is at least 10 users, from Designers through to Leadership. Other departments used Webex as well especially to meet with Vendors and discuss complex concepts. It was very easy to teach people how to use it since most of my colleagues were familiar with how to join an online meeting. These were also very good for recording important walkthroughs of platforms and vendor specific procedures.
I don't see that we tried to integrate anything with WebEx.
Webex [Meetings] really was the best meeting option for a while and it is so ubiquitous people will call having any online meeting "have a Webex" or "join a Webex". It doesn't do the kind of always-on functionality that Skype and Teams do (or it's at least not the first choice for many I have seen) - but for online events, or meetings, it's excellent. It performs better than Teams over slower connections and it was a more business oriented platform than Skype was, although Skype is getting more integrated into the Microsoft stack.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

Webex [Meetings] is good to use for a large scale meeting where people are already using Webex [Meetings] in their companies. Many businesses have already used it so even if you are hosting an event with people from multiple organizations, many people will understand how to join and participate. It is not as appropriate for very small teams where people need to jump on an instant demo with three people and share documents - Microsoft Teams does better for this.

Evaluating Webex Meetings and Competitors

  • Cloud Solutions
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
bandwidth was really important. We needed to be able to run a meeting with people across the country and share material with no delays. Especially for the very technical things we would review. Bandwidth and display refresh were very important.
No- at the time it was one of a limited amount of choices and it worked well.

Webex Meetings Reliability

I think it's always at least been OK for availability. If there have been issues, I think it's been my local connection. In general, I would say it's available when I need it.
Webex [Meetings] performs well. In the old days, on slower computers, it could eat up a bit of bandwidth, but I think that modern connections and more advanced computers have compensated for this. The only time I have seen things load slow was when everything else on my computer was loading slowly.
I would say it's scalable. Most people I have worked with understand how it works and it is a good bridge between departments. A CRM department and an IT department at a company can meet over Webex [Meetings], including team members from all over the world using many different devices and connections.
