Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Webexpenses is used by the entire organization for its expense management system. Both office-based and field-based staff use the system using both the desktop and mobile app. Introducing Webexpenses has helped us streamline the process of claiming expenses, has significantly reduced the time taken to make a claim before it is paid, and removed the need to rely on paper copies of expense forms and hard-copy receipts.

The front end is excellent and the claimant experience is really positive. All of our claimants have worked with Webexpenses with ease and very little training was needed as it is so easy to use. The basic administration of setting up new users, cost codes, and making amendments to such areas is also straightforward. The disappointing feature is the lack of integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX, which is nonexistent, making the uploading of data from Webexpenses to AX a less than straightforward task with lots of data manipulation needed, which is not ideal.
Can be slow at times and I can never get ahold of anyone on the phone. Response via email is slow, too, but there are very few occasions when I have needed to rely on support, as it is a very stable product.
We use Webexpenses to submit cash expense claims, which also involves approval and review of claims by line managers and then by finance. We now spend less time chasing claims that have not been approved, as the email notification works well and most line managers act upon receipt of an email.
Workflow and ability to reduce processing time and paper were the major priorities when introducing Webexpenses.

For front-end users, it is perfect. It saves time and the stress of managing receipts. Our field-based team is able to set up claims when working remotely, and capturing receipts using the app helps manage the paperwork instantly. This means that you can build up a claim more easily rather it being a Friday afternoon task that most would want to avoid.
