Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

Wrike was being used by multiple departments within the organization, but not across the entire organization. It was largely being used to manage individual to do lists and coordinate efforts on group projects. It was also a repository for future tasks.
  • Wrike folder structure approach is very intuitive and easy to learn. Plus it provides a lot of flexibility.
  • The tutorials/help resources provided by wrike, as well as the customer support, is very good.
  • Wrike's timeline and dependency feature made it easy to stay on top of multiple projects and extend/shorten them as things evolved.
  • Better integration with Gmail calendar would be really helpful.
  • The organization ended up leaving wrike in Aug 2015 due to the price increase. It was then too expensive for how the organization was using it.
  • Helped improve project management and coordination among virtual teams.
  • Difficult to get the organization to adopt wrike as people did not want to take the time to learn it.
  • Helped us manage evolving timelines and future tasks.
Trello is free which is a huge perk. Basecamp is great for simple project management/tasks but not as good for full project management needs.
When being used as a full project management solution, Wrike is great. When only being used to manage tasks/small projects, it's too expensive and overkill.
