Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent
Used to track sales incentives across all sales teams. It is providing more visibility to payout for transparency and trust in the commission payments.
- Keep multiple years of historical incentives.
- Detailed line items for targets.
- Monthly summary.
- Ways to see supporting information.
- Simplify the information with smart callouts on what lines are most important.
- Better support for the browser "back" button.
- Way to ask questions of managers about specific numbers or an annotation function for explanations.
- Clearer explanation of number or ways to hide unnecessary data by role.
- Fewer management questions.
- Historical visibility to data rather than needing to ask HR.
The calculations are still related back to rolled-up numbers that are evaluated behind the scenes. Having the summary visibility in Xactly is beneficial but more linkage to internal data could provide more visibility and clarity. The calculations based on targets [are] easy to understand within Xactly. More notes and comments would be welcome.
I am not aware of Xactly being used to drive Sales Performance management like quota and forecasting.
With the integration and connection of the systems, there is a reduction in errors, and the time to get the commission information estimated has been greatly reduced with some changes happening after the estimates before finalization. The final numbers are also available more quickly now than in previous years which is very important.
