Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
We use Ziflow for the proofing of various design projects/tasks. Everyone in the company uses the software, from designers to managers to developers. It helps address the proofing process with clients and keeps everyone responsible for the review and commenting process, which helps cut down on the number of back and forth emails and revisions. It's nice [not to] get feedback through email, marked-up faxes, marked-up PDF documents, or Word documents with comments. This keeps everything in one place for the reviewing process and keeps my team and clients very happy.
Pros
- Cutting down on number of review cycles.
- Keeping clients and proof owner accountable for their revisions/comments.
- Great interface that's easy to teach clients to use.
- Very feature-rich software.
Cons
- Simplifying the proof setup process. There [are] so many options, it can be a bit daunting to make sure you figure out all the options and set them correctly.
- Expensive software, but worth the cost.
- Saves us time on managing multiple emails and different markups (i.e., fax, scanned markups, pdfs). [It's] all in one place now.
- Keeps clients happy that we aren't missing updates that we have to weed through in emails.
- Makes my employees accountable, as well as clients, so we know who actually missed that update that was crucial.
