Overall Satisfaction with Zoho CRM
Zoho CRM is used by our Sales team, both internal and external, to track contacts and communications to and from customers and potential customers. We heavily utilize the Leads and Deals and also use it for quoting.
Prior to Zoho CRM, it was a challenge to keep our global sales force on target since they all had their own tools. Now that we have implemented CRM, it has helped us as a team and improved our focus.

- Zoho CRM does a good job with handling leads and then passing on those leads to the appropriate team.
- Zoho CRM allows us to specify multiple price lists so it makes quoting more efficient since the whole company uses the same tool and it accounts for differences in geolocation and customer type.
- The tracking of potential sales opportunities using Zoho CRM's Deals module provides the sales team the ability to estimate the likelihood of closing the sale and also provides a visual way to see the deals for the region or company. This gives us better tools for forecasting.
- Zoho CRM does not give us the granularity we desire for restricting access or segmenting accounts to territories or sales reps. While we can easily assign accounts / Leads / contacts to a sales person, we don't have the ability to restrict others from viewing their data.
- Zoho CRM support is not always as responsive as we wish them to be.
- Lack of license granularity. There are some areas where the number of templates or other licensed items are less than we desire, but there is no option to increase this without moving to the next license level, which we do not want to do.
- Using CRM has made our sales team more cohesive now that we are all on the same platform and have a unified view of ongoing deals. This has provided better organization and coordination.
- The automation of the Leads workflow has significantly reduced the number of lost or stale leads, assuring that customer inquiries are promptly routed to the right person
- The Deals module provides valuable insights through data analytics, enabling sales managers and representatives to make informed decisions. By analyzing trends and performance metrics within the module, the sales team can refine their strategies and focus on the most effective approaches.
Through Zoho CRM, our teams can better manage communication with customers. Automated follow-up reminders and communication logs ensure that no customer interaction is overlooked, providing a timely and responsive engagement throughout the sales cycle.
As mentioned previously, Zoho CRM has greatly improved our handling of Leads and potential customer inquiries. This shows that we are responsive and provides a good customer (or potential customer) experience.

- Salesforce CMS and GoldMine CRM (discontinued)
While Zoho CRM was not as feature rich as Salesforce.com, it was definitely more affordable. We looked at upgrading our current CRM, Goldmine CRM, but it was too limited and the upgrade offered was not cloud based. We were already a Zoho customer, using Zoho Projects, and felt that Zoho CRM was affordable and provided the features necessary to handle our entire global team.
