Overall Satisfaction with Zoom
It's generally used by the whole company for remote-friendliness. We've moved a lot of our in-person meetings to Zoom-first meetings to aid with the transition from an in-person company to one that's remote-friendly.
- Our all-hands meetings are now fully remote and Zoom. It makes sharing what's going on very easy and recordable for reference later.
- Pair programming is great through Zoom. Being able to share or cede control of your screen to someone is a great hands-on way of learning.
- This OSX 10.14 webcam bug is brutal, but I know it's not necessarily your fault.
- Presentation mode with multiple presenters is kind of tough because someone has to stop sharing before the others can share.
- Improved collaboration.
- Improve remote friendliness.
- Better, more efficient meetings.
- Google Hangouts and Skype for Business (formerly Lync)
Zoom is much better than Hangouts for performance reasons.
