Well suited for a company that has an extensive virtual environment setup. Definitely a good choice for companies that require an in-depth disaster recovery system, especially when the infrastructure is hosted in house. This system is expensive on a monthly basis, so I would not recommend this to...

Virtualization Manager is well suited to any enterprise organisation where the VM sprawl is getting out of hand or if you have hosts in different locations with different staff managing the inventory. It gives control back to you and a deep dive into whats actually happening on the hosts.

Foglight NMS is great for up to about 1000 interfaces (a switch may have 48, a server may have 4), that's how they license the product. Being that the application and database are stored on the same server, the deployment costs are affordable. After about 1000 interfaces getting monitored, one ma...

Larger environments/sites benefit greatly using VMware vCenter Server. You can consolidate many physical servers into the ESXi host environment and reduce your ongoing maintenance cost by reducing power consumption and cooling needs. If there are limited IT staff, VMware vCenter Server allows for...

If you have on premise hypervisors, and they happen to be running vSphere or Hyper-V, you should look at picking up VMAN. It really is that simple. The insight it gives into your virtual infrastructure is far too important to ignore. Check out the free online demo via oriondemo.solarwinds.com, an...
