123FormBuilder (formerly 123ContactForm)

If you have a lot of customer interaction with your site, where you need to collected specific, targeted, situational data, 123FormBuilder is an absolute winner. If your site is more information and perhaps leads to a software platform or other product or service, 123FormBuilder might prove unnecessarily robust for you. Something simpler and cheaper might make more sense for you. But in most cases where you're seeking to collect information from customers, I'd happily recommend 123FormBuilder.

Medallia

If you have many of the same business such as a chain, Medallia is helpful for you to be able to compare them to one another. This is also a helpful platform if you need to collect internal, branded reviews from guests/customers. You can also incorporate external online reviews into reporting. This is helpful if managing a large portfolio.

Cons

  • One-off payment integration requires a higher subscription
  • Storage is not commensurate with pricing
  • Not exactly a strong negative, but could work on pricing it better for non-US markets
Prasar Sharma profile photo
  • Tool is cumbersome for minimal users
  • Printing and saving reports takes up lots of space (one review per page)
  • Not all online reviews import easily

I like the product, but I am no longer in control of the project where this product was being used. However, I would definitely use 123ContactForm on future products

Online Training

I installed 123ContactForm myself and while I had some issues installing it I was able to visit their website and the troubleshooting information they provided in their faq section. They did offer other support if a user needed additional support, but I found the information provided on their website to be more than sufficient

Alternatives Considered

Looked at Zoho Forms, Google Forms, Form Assembly and a couple of others. In general there is a variety of features and it would not be wise to negatively rate any of the others. But purely from a price-feature mix, we chose to use 123ContactForm over the others and in that context it was ideal for us.

If you have a very large business with multiple outlets, Medallia is a reasonable choice to make because of the major scalability and the vast amounts of data you can collect. If you are a small, one-off, or independent business, it can be very costly and not all of the tools are necessary for you. I do not like the user experience or report visualizations as much as the reports on Revinate and TrustYou. Revinate is my favorite of the three so far.
