Any small business which needs international calling in a cheap and quick set up. Many businesses (in my experience) collapse and fail regularly, so being able to set up shop quickly and get the ball moving with international sales is important. Now that I have used your VOIP I would definitely recommend it. I was using another one for a different business 2 years ago and your tech and service was incomparably better.

  • Availability due to them being public cloud is nice to have. As they function of AWS it assures you that they have regional backups of their platform.
  • Scalability of the platform is good. You can increase ports and decrease them on demand and cater to your high and low volume seasons.
  • The management web interface and Studio software are neat features of the platform.

We will most likely renew our use of Attensity because of our history with them. Overall it has been a good relationship, however we do feel as if we could be getting more value. A big initiative of mine this year is to start getting as much value out of the product as I possibly can.

In the time I have used 8x8 Virtual Office, the core system has been up and running almost flawlessly though we do have a slight performance degradation from time to time as is expected of cloud software. The one recurring issue for us is that the fax connection is not always functional for outbound messages. We usually have to retry three or four times to get the fax to connect reliably to the destination machine. Once connected, it's smooth sailing.

None of the features that are available slow down the application. The reports (even the ones with hundreds of records) complete very quickly and the web interface as well as the mobile application never struggle to load or complete a task. The analytics will sometimes take some time to reflect the online status of users but it is to be expected due to connection speeds.

Having previously used 8X8 and CloudCall, when we went to the market for a VoIP provider to Integrate ERP, we found that 8X8 was much better across the following areas:
  • Better User interface.
  • Call reporting was more in-depth and accurate.
  • Call conferencing. It was much easier to add people in and to schedules.
  • Customization. Both in terms of hold music, answering messages, and call routing.

We've had periods where our organization has grown a considerable amount and we have had no issues in scaling our communications with 8x8. The number of possible extensions that we can use is far more than we expect to go through in a very long time. The only complaint that I have is a very minor inconvenience for me where I have to download activation codes for each phone. I would prefer to have the phones automatically activated as soon as they are plugged in.

  • I recall the feedback helping us identify the real magnitude of an issue that we know was present, but we weren't asking about on our survey. Because no one asked the customers about this issue no one knew how big of a problem is was until we were able to show the volume of feedback on a specific issue.
