  • As mentioned earlier, transactional heavy web assets such as eStores are particularly strong candidates.
  • IBM CXA along with other, similar tools, is not set-and-forget. The solution must be well managed in order to deliver value. Purchase of the solution is one thing; driving analytic results is another. If a company's staff are not strong analytical thinkers, CXA will not help. IBM CXA is not just a technology platform - it is a basis to design strong customer touchpoints and interactions. You need to be customer journey design literate to get the best from this.

Quadient Inspire

It is a fantastic toolset for managing all CCM requirements for most high customer communication volume businesses that want to manage this in-house, as well as developing full end-to-end journey maps that show things from the customer's perspective. Quadient is still developing its proposition in the CXM space, which is a new area of the market so the proposition is evolving. It is still the leader in this area of journey orchestration and linking CX with communications.

  • Tealeaf provides a unique view into a website beyond what typical web analytics can provide.
  • It captures all of a website's traffic, no need to tag pages or decide ahead of time what data you want to capture.
  • Data is captured and processed in real-time which reveal unknown issues as they are happening.
  • Replay session to see what a customer or user actually did and not just they remember doing when a problem occured.

  • Able to import any possible input—text and CSV files, XML, databases and anything else.
  • Very quick creation of workflows. Any imaginable output can be created in a short time period.
  • Easy to use modules can get you started very quickly, but advanced scripting features provide a tool which can handle any possible task.

  • IBM CXA leverages script tagging to inspect specific behaviour patterns. A tagging engine against your web assets is a must-have to simplify script insertion and avoid having to leverage internal IT resources to modify web code.
  • Tag management is perhaps the most challenging aspect of IBM CXA. In our view, this could be abstracted further and therefore simplified.
  • We would like to see connectors with UBX to common platforms such as CRM, marketing automation. The more this is readily available, the quicker the time to value for clients.

Quadient Inspire

  • I'd like to see more help in the way of scripting. The language is unique to Quadient Inspire so it can be a bit daunting, even coming from a programming background, to know the correct syntax.
  • The ability to use TextinRect with UNC paths as we have multiple licences for production so we can run more than one 'Production' at a time but this doesn't seem to work on the server with UNC paths.
  • I find inserting tables somewhat troublesome, I've also found that if you copy a table and paste it to another page in your layout module, although it makes a new table in the Table tab, if you change the contents of your new table, it also changes the contents of the table you copied.

The comprehensive set of tools IBM Tealeaf provides is so unique to what it can do. It continually provides value beyond what it costs. It is like free money. There hasn't been a tool that has replace what it can do. Without it, people and teams managing their application or website would be much more difficult

Inspire has enormous scope for creating output of numerous different formats and scales. As such, it is necessarily quite a complex tool. But taking these aspects into account I think it has been created in a logical and straightforward way that has minimised some of the problems that this could have brought about. Overall, it is much more powerful and intuitive than other options I've used in the past.

There is only one location you can get support; you simply cannot just ask on random forums as no one uses this software outside of the world of print. You have to go to the website but there are some people on there that are so knowledgeable it is scary! Never had a problem getting an answer to what I need.

I had a couple of weeks of training back in 2005 on the Quadient premises in Hradec Kralowe. The instructor was just great! Besides showing as normal functionalities, he went so far to solve our concrete challenges. He actually encouraged me to become a "real" programmer. I have written my first lines of code in Inspire (GMC PrintNetT) and never looked back.

Quadient offers online training for all of its products (paid service). You can choose your pace and go through the material and then solve real challenges. At the end, you can choose to take a final assignment and get certification which is a really good thing to do. If you get stuck, the training team will answer any of your questions and give you guidance.

Obviously, with technology becoming smarter, more updated and more efficient, we converted to software that would handle that...IBM. we've realized that analytics are so beneficial to the reelection process, how we communicate with constituents and the way we relay information to the community.

The above drop down would not allow me to pick the similar products that I have used previously. Planet Pres : Good in its time. Now very slow compared with Quadient.Compart:As quick... If not slightly quicker than Quadient. This does not counteract how difficult this software is to use. It has no GUI interface and even advanced programmers struggle to use it.Both of these products are inferior to Quadient when it comes to implementing within a normal organisation.
