Adobe Acrobat DC is the current version of the well-established document / PDF management solution, part of the Adobe Document Cloud (the other part being Adobe's eSign services based on technology acquired with EchoSign in 2011).

Dropbox is a cloud storage solution, equipped with features that help users to save time, improve productivity, and collaborate with others. Users can edit PDFs, share videos, sign documents, and collaborate with stakeholders without leaving Dropbox.
We have also used Dropbox, but the features are very different and the capabilities for edits are different. With Dropbox, there is still some wait time and I have to switch to a separate program to make edits to documents. Which makes its ease of use no comparison to Adobe …
I can't recall any specific software, but prior to having Adobe Acrobat DC, I experienced frustrations trying to work with PDF documents, spending a lot of time searching online for alternative software I could use without an Acrobat DC license.
I did not evaluate any other pdf management programs other than Adobe Acrobat DC. I was familiar with other Adobe pdf products and never thought to explore any others. I have been very pleased with Adobe Acrobat DC and have not seen the need to look at other pdf management …
Adobe works for so many other clients who may or may not have Windows or MACs, etc. When I send a Word document I never know who can open it and who can't. That's not the case for Adobe.
I have tried using some online versions of .pdf readers and document extractors, but having the full desktop software is far less clunky and infinitely more secure.
Adobe Acrobat uses the standard of the best PDF solution we know. It provides the necessary tools to create, edit and sign PDF files anywhere. Get the necessary tools to speed up the installation and manage the updates. You can be sure that the PDF files of the company will be …
As stated earlier, Dropbox, as an agnostic platform, just plays well with a wide variety of devices. This broad compatibility is the primary reason why I decided to switch over to the platform. Close integration within a suite of apps is hardly worthwhile when it hinders your …
OneDrive appears to be tied to a single user account, limiting file sharing abilities.

The filing system that Teams is based on is confusing when outside of Teams which then forces you to use only Teams to look for a collaboration. It is tough to search for things in Teams, but their keyword search does work well, however, you really need to know part of the …
If we compare it to how Google apps work, Google outperforms. In terms of interface, graphics, performance, user experience, accessibility, viewing capabilities, and security, there is so much improvement for Dropbox to achieve.
I use dropbox because you don't have to have a certain type of account, or account at all, to access a folder or files.

We use both for different reasons. Also, I've noticed different staff prefer one product over another for their go to. Google Drive isn't as beautifully or simply organized as Dropbox is; Dropbox seems to more closely mimic the organization of computer file systems. Things …
Both FTP sites and/or Procore or other construction sites I have to use because our client uses them, but it can be difficult to find what I need or have to ask for access to something that I cannot see. I can see Dropbox having the same issues for someone not familiar with it, …
We selected Dropbox because it has many features that a lot of other platforms do not have. It makes file sharing simpler, the organization is clear, and it's intuitive to use. Many other platforms don't have the same type of organizational capabilities that this one has. For a …

Easier to use. Quicker to access and keep files in the cloud or synced to devices.
I'm not sure about similar products, other than using a file server or other computer device for storing/sharing files and documents among multiple users.

Google Drive is extremely useful because it links to the email you have.
