Chose Chorus by ZoomInfo
It was a night and day difference. I like all the bells and whistles you get with Chorus.ai. To me, Chorus.ai is the "Lincoln Navigator" of call recording tools.
I loved Truly as a work phone (to keep my personal life separate) but there was no coaching aspect and it was harder for teammates to see each other's calls.
Chorus.ai's transcription and call analysis were the best among the options we evaluated. We found the pricing to be reasonable for the product quality, and hence we went ahead with it.
We are actually using those other products since these are essential in our business. I believe all of the products have worked very well, and all of them are beneficial to our organization since each tool provides different usage for our company. Chorus.ai is being used in all …
Chorus ultimately was the more user friendly of the two platforms we evaluated. It integrated with our sales stack and won out on a better partnership altogether. Their rep came on-site and was very involved in the proof of concept. We got a better price from them as well.
We have not used other alternatives. We were satisfied with our review of Chorus.ai during testing and felt confident with our decision to move forward. We have not felt the need to seriously explore other alternatives at this time, even when we are solicited. Chorus.ai serves …
We were referred to Chorus by some of our other tech stack vendors. We looked into a couple of other ones like Voice and Gong, but ultimately it came down to ease of use and pricing. Chorus team was smaller and we liked that because the experience was more personalized at the …
Outreach is just as good as their competitors and from what I understand is much cheaper than some of them. I wasn't part of the buying process, but it seemed to happen pretty quickly so the decision makers in my company must have been impressed enough to make the decision to …
When we were initially evaluating software, we just wanted a tool for BDRs to use. Outreach is a BDR powerhouse. As your organization grows, I would consider moving to SalesLoft, which integrates a lot of great features on the AE side of the house.
Honestly, we did look at Sales Loft. We trialed it and went down that path. While it is still a good tool and platform and does a lot similar to Outreach, when it came down to making a decision, we based our decision on a few things: 1. referrals from our other vendors, 2. ease …
It's every day. I can't do my job without Chorus by ZoomInfo. I record every external call. I'm able to actually have a meeting with my prospect without stopping and taking notes. I also can play myself back and learn to improve. It's very helpful when you use it to explain to the boss or other departments, "no guys, really, he said this!!!"
It feels like Outreach has an opportunity to impress the sales world, but is not investing money in the functionality of the platform. I like what is there, but much of it has areas where tweaking would be extremely helpful. I would be happy to walk someone through areas where things could be improved. - What if I wanted to see a report on my priority 1 accounts and show a list of those contacts not touched in the past month. - Or what about bringing in Salesforce fields to help with sorting and filtering.
Sometimes there were issues with the 3-minute delay for Chorus joining a live meeting.
Occasionally, deliverables were assigned to the wrong person in the summary if their voices were similar or if they were on the same audio.
Occasionally, the Chorus had problems picking up on what someone was saying. This was likely due to user error but caused gaps in the conversation recording and transcript.
It's hard for me to give anything more than a 5 at this point. The primary reason is that we have only used it for a few months and I'm still getting a feel for the level of value it provides both to me and the team. In 4 or 5 months I'll have a better understanding of its value long term
It's a strong tool that helps our sales development team manage a large number of qualified leads. The sequence framework ensures that every lead receives enough contact attempts that we have confidence that we're not abandoning our prospecting too early without the overhead of managing those activities manually.
This was sold internally as something that would help us be more efficient. I had high hopes that the speech-to-text feature would be useful for getting call notes/next steps, etc documented. But due to the limitations of the software, these things would take longer using Chorus than if I just write things down manually - disappointing.
Being in a role that required me to do a lot of prospecting, I spent more time in Outreach than any other platform. It had everything within that I needed to be successful in my role. It was extremely customizable and easy to learn. There were occasional bugs, but nothing that kept me from doing my job.
I personally have not had too many major issues with Chorus, but the times that I have reached out to their customer support team I have always received great responses in a very timely manner. Their support team is trained in a very polite way and cares about resolving your issue. They are knowledgeable and helpful and the customer service line does not take long to connect to a real individual.
There is almost zero customer support. What they do offer is a live chat feature which is active during "normal" business hours which is nice for instant inquiries if someone is available. However, you do not have a dedicated representative to address questions or concerns and their billing process is confusing and messy without any support.
We were trained in person and it was very easy to understand. And if we missed any pointers there was more training given to us. So i always like this tool. The drafts were also prepared for us to sync outreach with our devices so it was straightforward. Highly recommend
Lots of attention from the Outreach training team, with a great willingness to customize to our needs. To be clear, you get out what you put in. If you don't work with them, you'll get cookie-cutter training. But we asked for a lot of customization, and they delivered what we asked for.
Like I noted in the other category, it has been smooth for the most part. But we really do enjoy the hard work of our CSM and everything he has been able to provide us in terms of support.
I expected more assistance in connecting Outreach with Salesforce. We have a basic connection, but many fields were left without a sync. We can apparently sync data without adding the app into Salesforce, but believe we could get more functionality with a better integration. The basics of setting up our sequences and using Outreac to run them was was fine.
We stayed with Chorus by ZoomInfo because of the superior way it recaps our calls. Depending on the length of the call and what is being discussed, Chorus by ZoomInfo will usually provide 10 key points in clear detail. When we used Gong, we were finding it was only providing three or four key points. The quality of the recaps was very low as they were very short and were not worded very well.
It is scalable to many businesses, but I think Orum if frequently better for scalability in terms of number of prospect calls and making more calls. I think every sales team should have Outreach and I cannot imagine using only Orum because I think Outreach is better as an organizing tool, but I also can't imagine using only Outreach without Orum given the amount of calls I have to make in a day
The huge positive impact it had was the team not needing to spend as much time as disengaged opps as they were engaged ones. We were able to set sequences to work with them while the team could focus on generating new leads or converting Opps.
For an AE - post demo communication is important. With templates and snippets we could just click a few buttons and have a really nice email sent out with the relevant information and then the next several steps already planned out. This freed up time for us and even allowed us to take calls a lot sooner after demo's then before. For busy days this was very helpful.
