Deltek Collaboration vs. SmartSuite

Deltek Collaboration is best suited for companies and employees that are needing to work closely with other people. Working with agencies, for example, can take so much time waiting to hear back on the status of a project or getting files, so when you can have it all in one place it saves a lot of time and effort.

It is best suited to be a google alternative for a google drive due to its multiple functions. Can add action items, upload multiple types of files and assign people responsibilities and tasks. It combines resource platform abilities with project management functionality in order to unite all your needs in one area.

• SmartSuite is a good collaboration tool
• The capabilities of the platform are immense
• The customization features allow users to set up the report type and view it exactly as they want
• The choice of the fields to be used in the records and reports is really wide

• Pricing could be better as other options are free.

Before Deltek, we had just communicated around projects through Slack since it was free. It did work well for communication and you could share files, but it is not nearly as robust as Deltek Collaboration. It was not easy to look back and find necessary files, and the collaboration didn't work nearly as well.

For our team, SmartSuite contains all features that we need. Before we use Asana, Trello and tried to use Airtable. But all of these management systems did not satisfy us. Then we started using SmartSuite, got to know all the possibilities and decided to switch to it

• Improved communication.
• Centralized location for all documentation.
• Better organization for projects.
