Likelihood to Recommend Well suited for a company with a larger marketing budget as this is a costly program compared to the other ESPs. If your use case is not eCommerce, you would probably be better off with a standard ESP like Drip.
Read full review We are solving our small sales team problem. I am the only SDR in the company and Tout helps me manage, send and follow up with many of my leads automatically. Tout is more focused on “success or failure” of emails than Yesware is. They are going in different directions – as you can see that they’ll probably have some features from one another.
Read full review Pros Easy Editor - no HTML required. It's very easy to drag and drop your elements, customizing the campaign according to your needs. Reports- the reports are robust, showing you your open rates, browsers used, who clicked what, etc. It is easy to section out this information and deliver it to the appropriate stakeholders. Templates - building your own template library makes creating and sending campaigns and quick and easy experience. We could easily see if a lead forwarded an email to a large group of people for instance, because the stats would show it. Connect our email and CRM to log email activities onto Leads and Contacts. They were recently purchased by Marketo, so I'm hopeful that Marketo will be able to address some of these concerns. The ToutApp interface is not the most intuitive and does not provide a deeper understanding/analysis of the data. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Since this is used on a global scale and it is preferable to all of our brands, I cannot see us switching to a different provider. We have built years worth of contacts and templates within our current system, which saves our marketing team a lot of time when putting together future campaigns. All of them are mobile optimized which makes it even easier to work with
Read full review Support Rating It was tough to reach their support team. On average, it would take over 24 hours to get a response. Agents would ask us to perform repetitive tasks and take lots of screenshots instead of looking at our system and helping us fix issues.
Read full review Alternatives Considered DotMailer is built for eCommerce. Drip, ActiveCampaign, and Infusionsoft are not eCommerce platforms out of the box, though they can be tailored to that use case. DotMailer is especially geared toward retail businesses.
Read full review Marketo Sales Connect (ToutApp) was nowhere near as dynamic as the other listed tools that I mentioned. There was not any Sequence or Cadence you could follow. It was missing dynamic fields. A bit cumbersome. The other tools had much prettier interfaces too.

Increased our ability to better target prospects as we learned more about their behaviors.
