Likelihood to Recommend Routespring is definitely well suited for companies looking to keep track of all of their employee travel in one place, set a cap on spending for flights, provide reports when needed on travel costs and eliminate the need for employees to collect multiple receipts to turn in for travel reimbursement at the end of a trip. It is a simple platform to use once you get the hang of it, which really doesn't take that long if you are even mildly tech-savvy. As a non-profit with guests who were booking travel to our annual conference from all over the world, we did run into a few things that didn't quite fit (ex: couples booking together have to choose their spouse under the "employees" tab, and we had to make certain we had every single email address domain name our guests were using entered on the backend, so they were able to book with that email address). But these were small details and not deal breakers for us using the platform.

I don't worry about getting someone who has no idea what they're doing when I call Upside - whoever I get is going to be able to answer my questions and get my issues sorted out. That's a huge help

Our business travel changes in real-time. Sometimes we have to make multiple changes to our travel in one day. The Upside Support team is always there to change the travel, especially when my travelers do not have the time to step away from work to get on the phone with airlines, hotels, and rental car agencies. Prepaying for travel simplifies the booking process and eliminates the need for corporate cards. It is a pretty basic design - I think they'd raise confidence in their tech skills even further if the site were a little flashier. The site is geared toward companies whose employees all have the same email address domain. However, they are able to accommodate different email addresses if you provide them so they can add the domains to your account. Read full review Support Rating After trying for weeks to (unsuccessfully) set up an account with another online booking agency, we contacted Routespring to see if they could help us based on the great reviews we saw. It took them about three days total to have everything in place and ready for our guests to start booking their flights while ticket prices were still reasonable. They have been attentive to all of our needs, respond quickly and professionally to guest questions, and are a lot of fun to work with as well. We couldn't have asked for a better partner for this project!
Read full review The support from Upside Business Travel is absolutely amazing. Immediately after you book a flight, you get an email from your representative. You can contact them at any time and get them to help you with anything you need or answer any questions. I have used the support before to get an earlier check-in, change flights, and add a night to my stay.

Read full review I was not a part of the change process, but I am quite happy using Upside over Concur. We were charged just to speak with an agent, and there wasn't an option to communicate online. I love having the chat option with Upside. I do miss the ability to put travel plans on hold to allow colleagues the opportunity to review it before I book, but the pros of Upside far outweigh the cons.
