Considered Multiple Products
Webex Meetings
Chose Webex Meetings
Zoom & Teams are usually the most-evaluated alternatives in enterprise and SMB contexts because of their broad adoption and feature breadth. Google Meet is often compared where organizations use Google Workspace. Offers short, lightweight voice/video chats (Huddles) and smaller …
Chose Webex Meetings
They all handle collaboration and meetings well and all offer various experiences. On the whole I wouldn't say any one of the products stand out against the other so it would have to come down to ease of integration, installation an costing. Webex Meetings holds its own well …
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is almost incomparable more so because of the integration options and its variety of features that makes teamwork, collaboration and communication smooth.
Chose Webex Meetings
Overall, Webex does a pretty good job. Google Meet ultimately ranks high because of how most schools utilize Google Apps to drive most of the digital learning environment and how teams integrates with a free LMS like Google Classroom. However, Zoom offers a lot of features and …
Chose Webex Meetings
I like them much better. I think Zoom caused us a lot of issues for people with time and people couldn't be their own manager. We just had a lot of problems with Zoom. That's what we primarily used before this. So it has caused us a lot of problems in the past. So WebEx is way …
Chose Webex Meetings
Some of our best practices vs Zoom and Skype include the use of AI and the ability to set clear goals for meetings. Easy navigating Webex features like screen sharing, polling, and Q&A. Testing of camera, microphone, and internet connections and making sure they are working. …
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is very stable, audio and video have better quality and it has screen sharing. many endpoint devices are able to join meetings in an easy and professional way. Mobile applications and desktop applications do not consume more resources of PC as others. Users are …
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex is easy to use, secure and Cisco is a well-known company, brand. Some webex features don't exist in other alternatives like client view like in TV broadcasting, that gives such a perspective. Alternative apps's third party application pool/integrations are also expanding, …
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex is a very complete tool, it does not consume resources on laptops, and communication is very fluid. Platform stability is very good, fault-tolerant, and does not require a lot of bandwidth to work. You can record the sessions and you can invite many participants. The tool …
Chose Webex Meetings
I think they are easily able to be compared to all of the competitors because they are pretty much the same and probably just on the same level as the other ones. I just think it's not as commonly used as the other ones.
Chose Webex Meetings
Selecting Webex was mainly because our external stakeholders were using it and not the other tools which we had for internal collaboration. To be honest, there isn't much to separate Webex from other tools for the simple reason that all of these tools have similar …
Chose Webex Meetings
Audio and video quality seems lower than Webex Meetings. Also Slido and Vidcast being included with Webex Meetings at no additional cost make Webex Meetings a more cost effective solution.
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings integrates with other Webex products like Slido increasing our engagement and making the meetings or sessions more interactive. Additionally, the virtual backgrounds are highly customisable and the video and audio quality are better than that of other …
Chose Webex Meetings
It has a high quality of audio and video. It also has the tools needed in the meetings like screen sharing, live chats, Q&A, reactions emojis, and polls. It can also be accessed on mobile phones, therefore you can attend the meeting anywhere.

Chose Webex Meetings
Better Quality Easier to use Companies don't need to purchase MSFT 365 to use.
Chose Webex Meetings
Webex gives both Zoom and Microsoft Teams a good run for their money. Webex seems to better accommodate a large number of participants and thus why we use the software for our larger meetings.
Chose Webex Meetings
Zoom is the ubiquitous and leading consumer/enterprise choice. So some work to be done there. OBS was excellent for webcasting purposes, but not a choice I would make for my business.
Webex Webinars
Chose Webex Webinars
Webex Webinars video and audio quality is outstanding. Webex Webinars has the capability to host a large number of audience at once.
Chose Webex Webinars
I think Webex is comparable to Zoom in features and quality. We chose it because we use the whole suite of Webex tools.
Chose Webex Webinars
Compared to other big-name video conferencing software, Webex Webinars stands out as it serves to cater to large events whereas the competition does not. Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Skype to name a few, have all garnered much attention due to the need for virtual meetings but …
Chose Webex Webinars
One of the main reason we chose Webex Webinar was because trainers like the in-webinar/training emoticons that stick next to a user's name on the participant panel. Other products just have the emoji's that pop up, but you can't easily tell who posted them. Those are important …
Chose Webex Webinars
Webex Events is my choice to make events because it can afford more participants without losing audio and video quality. Webex Events is more professional, and with it, we can make high-level events like a Digital Summit. The users can use it without the need [for an] …
Chose Webex Webinars
Compared to Zoom, we prefer Cisco Webex Events for a number of reasons. Namely, for the sake of streamlining alongside other Cisco products that are heavily relied upon throughout the firm. While Zoom is very popular, Cisco Webex Events was preferred for security purposes, as …
Chose Webex Webinars
We have now started using Zoom as it is relatively cheaper and also people are now more used to it as for small group meetings, this is preferred tool in our company.

License to host Cisco Webex Events is limited to only HR department or senior executives in our company, hence …
Chose Webex Webinars
  • Better user interface.
  • A lot more customization options.
  • Better security.
Chose Webex Webinars
Cisco Webex Events never adapted or innovated so that's why I switched us to Zoom. The price difference, customer service, and functionality are like night and day. The cloud recording and registration options are so much easier and intuitive compared to Cisco Webex Events. …
Chose Webex Webinars
Webex Events is significantly more expensive than Skype or Zoom for an enterprise license, so our nonprofit is currently only using Webex Events for webinars with external stakeholders or trainees. Skype is more integrated with the Microsoft suite of tools we use, but it …
Chose Webex Webinars
WebEx seems to be the first platform and most widely used. Supported by a quality brand (Cisco) known for its video conference and teleconference technology, WebEx continues to be a consistent, reliable, platform that has outlasted the others.
Zoom Workplace
Chose Zoom Workplace
We found Zoom as an audio video meeting service / application to be as good or comparable to Webex Meetings. Both have their share of pros and cons. Zoom and Webex were our preferred apps over Microsoft Teams and Slack for a variety of reasons. But in the end, we do not use Micr…
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think that Zoom Workplace is one of the top two options. Microsoft Teams and Webex Meetings have more issues and glitches than Zoom Workplace. However, I think that Google Meet is a far superior product for our company. I often run into issues with Zoom Workplace not wanting …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom Workplace is a simpler and easy to deploy software and can be run on low performance machines too. Its UI, wide use and data encryption policies made it a perfect choice.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is the mothership of all meeting products. It has stood the test of time through Covid, and all the other platforms are constantly playing catch-up, with features like backgrounds, filters, audio settings, captions, and transcripts. It's great to be able to move camera …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom has the easiest screensharing. In-call messaging is similar across all platforms. Both Zoom and Teams capture in-call chats, which is very helpful if something was missed on the call, you can go back and find the message. Chime is the most challenging to use, but this …
Chose Zoom Workplace

Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is cheaper and easy to use than other tools.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I believe it is a great contender for a video and audio calling platform. We selected it due to the need for a more flexible option over using Microsoft Teams. It is difficult to join a Teams call if you do not already have a Microsoft account setup, whereas with Zoom Workplace …
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think Zoom Workplace is about equivalent to the Webex suite. However, Microsoft has the edge due to the breadth of capabilities packaged with Microsoft 365/Entra.
Chose Zoom Workplace
We have had Zoom since before the big C. it has always been very user friendly and quite easy to use and train. It has many of the same features as other apps, though we may not use them all. they are all present it seems.
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is a much more user-friendly product than others we have used in the past. The user experience with Zoom was much better than our previous screen sharing, audio conferencing, and video conferencing products. Zoom is a very common tool that is also used by many of our …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is more equally stacked with Microsoft Teams because Microsoft has been playing catch-up for the last few months. I think that overall I have less latency with Zoom than I do with Teams, but other than that, I don't see much difference between the two anymore.

Zoom is much …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Compared to its competitors, Zoom is more cost-effective, as well as simpler to install and use. It's also more reliable, as Google Meet's call quality has been poor for meetings larger than one-on-one. Even Microsoft Teams has a Zoom plug-in for teams to use. I chose Zoom, so …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom is a high-performing video conferencing app [that] is a good option for conferencing meetings. It has all the options that a normal user needs from such an application. But here are some pros that other software offer which Zoom lacks:1. Skype for example has a web client …
Chose Zoom Workplace
I used to use Skype before Zoom. Zoom's robust and quality features are not available in Skype. Zoom is a video conferencing solution that maintains advanced online collaboration features while improving video quality. It has made it possible for me to continue my work as a …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom has all the same tools and more, all for a better price. I would highly recommend Zoom!

For the price, you can't get things like remote access (where the presenter changes), have whiteboards, and everything else Zoom has to offer. The main difference beyond price is the …
Chose Zoom Workplace
We used Zoom to tailor to our customer base as it was more widely used and commonly referred to by our "average" non-technological clients. We also have been using, and still are, Webex for our internal meetings as well as all of our enterprise level customer presentations. We …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom and Teams both support online meetings, chats, calls, screen sharing, and file sharing, among other capabilities. The main distinction between the two is Microsoft's integration of Teams with its Office 365 suite. Zoom's ability to display up to 49 individuals on one …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Skype is Windows only, so it's completely unusable for us. It's got poor audio and video quality too. Microsoft Teams, at least on Linux, is incredibly slow. I once timed it--it took 45 seconds from hitting enter in the browser location bar until the Teams channels were usable. …
Chose Zoom Workplace
We devised our specifications and evaluated the following products and Zoom has most of the features that we required for our business. The most prominent and frequently used features among our organization is breakout rooms. This minimizes the urgency to buy multiple licenses …
Chose Zoom Workplace
Zoom has more features than Webex. I was not involved in the decision-making process to choose Zoom over Webex so I can't say why we selected Zoom.
Chose Zoom Workplace
I think that Zoom and Webex are by far the two strongest in this industry and the features are similar. I think the capabilities are far superior to what you find with GoToMeeting and Blackboard Collaborate. I chose Zoom over the others for this specific group of users …
Chose Zoom Workplace
The cost was just right for Zoom. Webex cost way too much and same with ON24. Teams just couldn't do webinars and external customers had trouble using it. Zoom seemed easier for the customer.

The first reason is the ease of use and availability, which makes WebEx work for all. The quality of audio and video is adorable. As a business development associate, I must make an impression on the other side, and WebEx helps me make first impressions. A few features are complex for new users but can be resolved.

I'd say mainly well suited for larger audiences. I think there's probably some products that are a little more economical for smaller audiences, but if you need a solid, reliable platform for larger audiences, say more than a hundred people. So this is the best product for that or at least top two.

In most cases, and I mean almost all, Zoom is vastly superior to Teams in terms of functionality and ease of use. Case in point: I recently tried to join a Teams meeting in the web browser, and it took me multiple attempts to access it. This NEVER happens with a Zoom link.

  • Cisco Webex Events is very straightforward and easy to use. Setting up an event within the platform is quite simple - anyone can do it.
  • Webex Events is a great add-on feature to the Webex conferencing platform to allow a one-way broadcast of information, rather than worrying about attendees being able to interrupt the presentation.
  • Recording a session is fairly simple and accessing the recordings post-event is quite reliable. I believe you can also upload .mp4 files into the Webex Events platform to serve as a host.

  • Audio quality of phone calls is spot on. Calls are clear and crisp.
  • Video quality of video meetings are clear and there aren't any pixelization artifacts that some systems can have.
  • Having AI summaries have been life changing for us. We no longer have to concentrate on note taking, like we did in the past. The summaries are accurate and enable us to put our efforts in the meeting or conversation. Plus, we can save them into our practice management system as required.

Cons
Cisco
  • Only a few options are there for non-verbal feedback like hand raising or emoji reactions. They should work on it as expressing understanding or agreement would help collaborate with the cross-functional teams.
  • More options for creating custom workflows and integrations with internal tools would be helpful and the whiteboard also looks basic compared to other similar tools. I think, adding features like sticky notes and freehand drawing would be a great boost.
  • The mobile app is functional but I find it less intuitive and feature-rich compared to the desktop version. Should have parity in features and a more user-friendly interface will become more helpful for mobile users like me who sometimes conduct or attend meetings on the go.

  • There always seems to be room for video quality improvement (not a necessity, but would be nice)
  • Mobile screensharing from iOS/Android (and other mobile) devices would be a great feature
  • The mobile app should be able to track meetings a user has been invited to, but does not do so (yet)

Usability
Cisco
Webex Meetings does not provide enough audio feedback for users with visual disabilities to properly navigate the tool. Students, faculty, and staff who are blind or have low vision may not be able to use Webex Meetings. Users with motor disabilities that navigate via keyboard, may not be able to navigate the web conferencing session enough to participate fully.

My experience with this software is fantastic; it's so satisfying that it only took me a week to go through an internal training program to use this software, actually, I don't think this training program was necessary. So personally I have never faced any kind of meeting unavailability issue while scandaling meeting with WebEx the bandwidth is really good and in terms of application performance the same is my opinion what I mentioned for availability it is good and the objective of communication is quite fruitfully achieved with a simple and effective product like WebEx which is often bundled with the purchase of course which is which we have at our company and great discount is being offered so it is easy on our pocket. I really don't have any specific errors which have faced I should mention over here the operation or application uses is quite smooth.

You can turn around WebEx Attendance reports within 24 hours. Sign in to Webex Site Administration and go to Reports - Access Anywhere. Select the beginning and ending dates for the report. Report data is available only for sessions conducted up to three months before the current date depending on your administration set-up. From the Sort results by drop-down list, select the sort order criteria for the report. Zoom has among the best performance of any video conference platform, as I've mentioned several times. Besides that, their Chat platform works great, and their back end always runs smooth. It's unfortunate that reporting can now only be done by one month at a time, but nonetheless, it only takes a second to run any kind of Zoom report, whether it's an attendee report, Poll results, a user report, a list of meetings from the past month, etc.

I love the control that this product gives to those running the meetings. It allows you to assign presenter roles to people and everyone else that is an attendee can be totally controlled, like whether they can unmute, use video or just sit there and watch. It really gives control of the meeting to those who are running it. And we love that ability for those meetings that we are trying to make sure people are listening in on instead of trying to participate.

Because I got a response right away, and was assigned one specific individual to work with me from the beginning to the resolution. I had an actual email address and direct contact with this person without having to start over and over every time I contacted Zoom - this singular individual remained attentive and was well informed on the subject matter and quite able to resolve my needs.

In-Person Training
Cisco
It was straight to the point and very informative. effective training often includes clear explanations, hands-on practice opportunities, time for questions and answers, real-world examples, and follow-up support. If you're trying to assess the quality of a specific training session, you might consider these factors. For organizations looking to assess the quality of their in-person training, it's best to solicit feedback directly from the participants. This can be done through anonymous surveys or feedback sessions, enabling the organization to gather firsthand information and improve future training sessions accordingly.

It was very interactive and well explained. The trainor is very much knowledgeable of the product. He was able to answer all of our inquiries in a timely and professional manner. There were lots of exercises done during the duration of the training to ensure that we have a better view on what to expect from the product.

Implementation Rating
Cisco
That we needed complex implementation that we didn't get tells me 2 things: 1) the product was not designed in a way that "just worked" like some of its peers (Zoom / BlueJeans) and 2) had our company defined actual user needs and validated / verified that they had bought something that matched those, we would have pursued features / designs more closely aligned with what the product actually does: screen share, sometimes video, definitely VOIP audio (always an option regardless of license), and easy recording and retrieval of meetings.

Alternatives Considered
Cisco
The ability to transfer multimedia files directly into the platform and a very robust free plan helped me make the decision to try out Webex Meetings. Easy to set up in a company environment and accessible once the learning curve and sign up process are complete. In-platform web navigating is also a nice feature when onboarding new staff or doing market research.

ON24 has a lot more bells and whistles, which is great when you need them but when you're looking for a straight up platform to host a stand alone webinar, Webex Webinars is a good alternative. We've selected Webex Webinars when we don't need such a customized webinar console.

Zoom Workplace is typically on the more expensive end against other options, but it's the industry leader for a reason. It has the most brand credibility by far, but that doesn't mean it's perfect. There are limitations when it comes to technical performance, customization and video/audio quality. I prefer Slack myself for communication apps, but Zoom Workplace is a good alternative.

The billing and price model is really fair for so many functions that they offer, our remote work requires each of the features that Zoom offers, so accepting payment for a tool like this is the least we can do. I like that billing arrives on time and that they offer opportunities and payment times.

Scalability

I work for a Fortune 500 company with many employees so I can testify to its usability for large corporations. In addition, I use the software within my small team of sales reps so it is always usable on a small scale as well. Because the Basic licenses are completely free, and because it's very easy to configure and install Zoom, and because anyone can join Zoom from a link without needing an account, scaling is a Breeze. There are absolutely no roadblocks. My company keeps adding more Zoom Pro license every week since it's so in demand. We were able to convert users from several different platforms onto Zoom with no trouble at all.
