  • In a B2B set up - Post achieving some scale and having outgrown Google Sheets/ Excels. Won't add much value if you are dealing with fewer than 400-500 invoices a year.
  • We haven't explored their B2C subscription management side - but that is one of the key strengths of the platform.

Giving it a nice because there are solutions coming out at really attractive prices, which is affordable even for small businesses. Chargebee is losing a lot of small businesses like mine. Rest they are really good solution with really good way to add subscription and recurring charges for your website or membership site.

Anyone who uses a CRM that values the user experience and easy functionality within a business. Salesforce, B2B, B2C businesses will benefit the most from this platform. If you think you may need a lot of support I wouldn't recommend Chargebee as much due to the lack of help and time you receive.

I would recommend this for sub box companies that want to use Shopify for the orders. I say that with a precaution. The more unique the setup of your sub box company, the more challenges and troubleshooting you may run into. Be ready to use a developer to tweak the integrations to the right specifications

The key differentiator of the platform is its user interface and its simplicity. Everything is organized logically, and even if you've never used Chargebee before, it's really simple to get used to. It's an excellent tool for all transaction-based operations because of its simplicity, effectiveness, and short learning curve for all users.

If you have a dedicated high level API programmer,
and you do not need to sync with accounting software,
and you don't need to have online checkout,
and you don't use Authorize.Net...

Chargebee is really well suited to any growing company. There is probably a lighter-weight solution that might be optimized for a 5 person startup. There may be better options if you're the size of Google. But if you're a venture-backed startup, growing anywhere from Series B to Series E it's great. The tool is purpose-built for SaaS billing, but it now has a ton of features that make non-SaaS billing easy as well.

Chargebee works very well for managing trial signups, as well as the managing of user accounts for SaaS apps. It is simple to add licenses, send new invoices, and manage specific customer accounts. I believe that if you are primarily taking monthly or annual credit card payments, Chargebee provides a good range of functionality. If you are using traditional invoicing, I would keep looking.

Chargebee is perfect for a small business/entrepreneur offering a limited product/service. As long as the plans are simple, this is a great solution.

If your services rely on multiple options or complex plan structure, this might not be a fit.

Chargebee can be super helpful to quickly know your MRR, ARR, churn, sales trend or revenue trend over a month, 3 months, 6 months or a year. Works well for subscription businesses like a charm.

Chargebee does not provide a mobile app dashboard to quickly check revenue and other important metrics and can be a pain at times to log in through a web browser.

Chargebee is a fantastic solution that really meets the needs of any online business from Saas to e-commerce. I have had experience with many platforms both as a leader and as a consultant, and Chargebee is the platform I have liked the most. I think it also balances feature set with usability -- many platforms like Zuora overcomplicate matters at times or can be too rigid when it comes to certain business use cases.

Amazing for B2B SaaS Businesses - especially the ones in the growth or setup stage. Chargebee has a great plan for startups which allows smaller businesses to get set up without investing lot of money. Their startup plan also allows businesses to collect up to 50K USD without any upfront cost.

It's great for an early stage startup who doesn't have the resources to build in all of the subscription management features they need. It has a great free tier that makes it very accessible to a young startup. It's also great for a growing startup but it may not be the best fit for a more mature startup with the resources and need to build something a bit more custom.
