We use Google Ads to support priority campaigns to drive traffic to certain areas of our site, specific products, etc. The platform offers the potential to reach new users, retarget existing ones, and overall drive sales that we otherwise could have or would have missed out on. The best part of the platform is the ROAS, as clicks are usually pretty cheap for very good returns
  • Reaching new customers
  • Easy to use platform
  • Good ROAS
  • You can only have one draft campaign at a time
  • Certain functions are hard to find (setting monthly budget)
  • The recommendations can be better, ie keyword suggestions are not always relevant
Google Ads are great for companies looking to drive traffic, sales, etc that have the budget to bid on certain keywords. The platform can give small to medium size companies a chance against larger ones. One scenario where Ads may not work is for smaller businesses who don't have the budget to bid on certain keywords because the CPC is too expensive.
  • Easy to use platform
  • Powerful & specific targeting
  • Reporting
  • Good ROAS
  • Traffic increases
  • Lifetime Value
Google Ads can be more useful than LinkedIn & Facebook Ads because it is reaching a larger pool of users. Both platforms have even better/more targeting options, but they limit the amount of reach you will receive. Google Ads catches users at the top of the sales funnel.

The skills required can be achieved via Google certification + experience. There are some things that need to be learned firsthand
  • ROAS
  • Reach
  • Revenue generation
  • Adding prices to ads
  • Increasing revenue for low traffic sites
  • Driving traffic to new products
Google Ads has been a relatively inexpensive platform with good results for us

We use Adwords for our shop, and it has been a wealth of knowledge. We use it for remarketing which is the biggest earner from both social and search paid marketing strategies. Now our brand is more than known in our niche space
  • remarketing
  • search campaigns
  • budgetting
  • click fraud
  • multiple clicks
  • similar keywords
Is very well suited in the buying process when you have excellent products or where you have the lowest price on the market. It is equally good for remarketing and social selling
  • we increased our sales by 50% in the first 3 months, with a small budget
  • our marketing budget doubled
  • we achieved a bigger reach
In my country, Bing is not being used by anybody, and our small budget in Bing stayed untouched for more than a month. Google being the only search engine used, everybody uses it for any type of search

  • Marketing
  • remarketing
  • price per client acquisition
  • to reach a greater audience
  • to come with greater products based on specific market searches
  • see trends in seasons
  • improve prices and quatations
  • better trend understanding
  • product availability in certain months
It is the most influential and best suited ad revenue generating software, if used very carefully and with a budget more than any social network

We use AdWords to create and distribute advertisements for our 3 websites. It is currently only used by myself as the sole marketing consultant. We use AdWords to draw more traffic to our websites using the normal AdWords, shopping campaigns, remarketing and display ads.
  • Adwords enables us to directly target specific customers looking for specific products and services. This means that we don't waste marketing budgets on keywords and advertising that isn't as targeted.
  • Adwords enables us to review a breakdown of budgets, click data, conversion data and a whole wealth of other statistics. This means we can make informed decisions on what direction we should send out marketing.
  • Adwords is great at helping to market specific products through Shopping Campaigns. This means that we're able to directly target customers that are looking for one of our products, for example "30cm Porcelite Squared Plate" rather than just at customers looking for "Plate".
  • Adwords could benefit from being able to integrate with Google Analytics more. Currently, we're able to send conversions (sales) over to adwords but being able to view which keywords and advertising campaigns generate revenue through specific products would mean we're able to gauge which products are most effective. Currently we would have to jump between Adwords and Analytics.
Google Adwords is suited well for businesses who aren't in a crowded market. For example, creating adwords for mobile phones would be extremely expensive due to the competitive nature of the market, whereas adwords for our market, catering equipment, has a good balance of keyword costs across all products. It's also great for small businesses who want to just target locally, such as a cafe or restaurant.
  • Adwords has a positive impact on our return on investment. It creates a steady flow of sales for us, both online and over the telephone.
  • Adwords has unintentionally also helped to improve the customer service and awareness of our sales staff. They are now more involved in the Adwords decisions and know what products need pushing. Also, due to the increase in customers, sales staff is able to increase their customer service skills while "on-the-job".

  • Generating more sales
  • Brand awareness
  • Increasing customer service
  • Increasing sales representatives awareness of the marketing side of the business.
  • We may be able to use adwords for marketing our company in additional ways including more display adverts, remarketing and demographic targeting.
Adwords has now become vital to increasing sales in our business. Without it, our website would have to rely on organic Google search alone which would be near impossible.
