  • Our on-boarding document has cut staff time down on processing a new employee, termination etc. The form ties several dept work orders together.
  • Processing appeals for the Board of Equalization has cut staff time, very little paper to store, easier and faster access to the community and more!

  • When a document arrives and we scan it, we don't have to enter all the associated data for it. That is done automatically by workflows that we have created. The actual physical handling of documents has gone way down. The time it takes to process a document has significantly decreased.
  • We also don't have to store those paper documents anywhere. Once they are scanned then they are shredded. Many times now they arrive in electronic form from the customer so we never see the paper form at all.

  • The centralized repository of digitized documents allows users from different departments to collaborate and use the same documents, effortlessly and seamlessly. This has been a tremendous value to organizational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Business Process Automation has increased the capacity of a fixed workforce. By reducing the workload of individuals on repetitive tasks, it allows them to work on higher-value tasks.
  • Business Process Automation increases accuracy as well by defining a clear process with forms, emails, and document routing on each step. This leads to greater worker productivity.

  • Laserfiche has had a positive ROI impact on all departments that use the software. By improving work processes and inefficiencies many departs saved hours a day once Laserfiche was implemented.
  • The Commissioner of Revenue's Office had the largest ROI of any departments that I bought up on Laserfiche as well as having the lowest cost to bring up users and scanners.
  • The Sheriff's office was the most difficult to bring up because of the back-log and historical documents that needed to be scanned and tagged with meta data. I would recommend using a third party to scan back documents if it is more than 3 months internal scanning.

  • Because of Laserfiche's using a format that is very similar to Windows Explorer, my new users are a lot less intimidated when using Laserfiche for the first time. Within a few minutes, they are able to navigate to the data needed, which is much, much faster than their trying to locate the hard copy of the same data.
  • Sustainability initiatives have been exceeded because several of VT's departments have given up the paper and gone digital.
  • Laserfiche tends to be the common denominator between departments when it comes to sharing data, and for keeping their data current.
