Once you go Laserfiche you'll never go back
- When a document arrives and we scan it, we don't have to enter all the associated data for it. That is done automatically by workflows that we have created. The actual physical handling of documents has gone way down. The time it takes to process a document has significantly decreased.
- We also don't have to store those paper documents anywhere. Once they are scanned then they are shredded. Many times now they arrive in electronic form from the customer so we never see the paper form at all.

- The Commissioner of Revenue's Office had the largest ROI of any departments that I bought up on Laserfiche as well as having the lowest cost to bring up users and scanners.
- The Sheriff's office was the most difficult to bring up because of the back-log and historical documents that needed to be scanned and tagged with meta data. I would recommend using a third party to scan back documents if it is more than 3 months internal scanning.

- Because of Laserfiche's using a format that is very similar to Windows Explorer, my new users are a lot less intimidated when using Laserfiche for the first time. Within a few minutes, they are able to navigate to the data needed, which is much, much faster than their trying to locate the hard copy of the same data.
