We are using Scale Computing HC3 nodes at each plant to decrease our physical server count and increase our efficiency of hardware use. We are using Scale nodes at all locations throughout our company. The clusters make it much easier for our small IT department to handle hardware downtime and maintenance.

We used it for clients to cost effectively consolidate storage and server workloads to a 3U server footprint with an easy to use management interface. By including storage, networking and compute in a redundant platform we have substantially increased our resiliency and recoverability. We have implemented Scale's offsite disaster recovery as well which efficiently replicates data to a separate data center for easy recovery should the need arise.

Scale HC3 provided a complete solution at a reasonable cost. We selected it for the core of our organizational infrastructure, allowing us to focus on delivering services and minimize the time spent on building and maintaining that infrastructure. The vast majority of our servers now run on the Scale cluster.

Our old equipment was coming to end of life and a replacement was needed. I had seen Scale at a conference and received more information. It was also recommended by two MSPs. I ended up working with one of the reps to put together a proposal for the board. I was able to show that by switching, we would have a cost savings of over $50,000 over multiple years, versus replacing and paying for licenses with our current setup. We use this for the entire organization at our only location.

Our Scale server is the main server at 2 of our manufacturing facilities. This server is the host for all of our Microsoft functions uncluding some engineering apps. THe main benefit of Scale in my opinion, is the superior service and the all in one package. I've dealt this VMware before, and while it's a good product, there are soo many purchase options, it makes my head spin. I have purchased VMware packages before, only to implement and find that to use the features I was promised I have to buy yet another additional add-in.

We use Scale for our entire infrastructure. The ease of use was one of the driving factors in choosing scale. It is easy to manage and quickly see how things are running in our system. I love how easy it was to set up our DR solution with it and the customer service at Scale is top notch.

As a reseller, we have implemented Scale Computing for private business organizations, non-profit, and schools across the whole org. The three primary concerns it solves is to provide high-availability, simplicity, and exceptional vendor support.

We are currently using HC3 as our full stack infrastructure housing all servers, virtual desktops, and sandbox projects. The entire organization utilizes and benefits from it from individual user experience to the technical staff managing servers. As we maintain as lightweight an IT staff as possible this avoids having multiple interfaces or licenses for us to maintain desktops and servers. We don’t experience the complexity or cost that plagues companies utilizing other platforms viewed as “industry standard.” The simplicity of the Scale HC3 infrastructure puts us in a position to focus on more business critical matters than managing servers and desktops.

Scale HC3 is utilized as part of our core infrastructure and is deployed across our whole organization. It replaced a storage area network built around a NetApp storage appliance. One of the great things about Scale HC3 is that it consolidates equipment, technologies and vendors. This equates to purchasing from 1 place, getting support from 1 place, and having a product with fewer independent parts. For industries that require it, you also minimize your vendor management/assessment footprint.

Our organization utilizes a 4 system node cluster as a form of the disaster recovery plan, as well as a way to lower our total cost of ownership and increase our return on investment. From AD services, files sharing, databases, and security, we utilize this as our virtual server solution.

The Scale HC3 is being used for our whole organization and is running various VM machines, including Active Directory, File server and some smaller machines. The two biggest things we wanted were fast recovery (having experienced our file server being down due to an bad update) and a reliable DRP solution.
The Scale HC3 solution checked these boxes very easily, providing us hourly backups on our file server and by using an HC3 node in a remote location with an extremely easy interface!

It was used at our main datacenter to replace the traditional three-tier outdated architecture. All of our mission critical applications reside on the HC3 system.

We also are using the DR HC3 system at a remote site and have replication enabled for our critical VM's.

It addresses the issue of redundancy, performance and TOC.

Scale is being used for our primary private cloud infrastructure and at branch offices. It addresses loaded costs of a hypervisor, dense storage, live migration and overall resiliency. It simplifies the management and doesn't require specialized resources from an engineering perspective, allowing our IT to be a jack of all trades vs a SME. This ultimately enables us to focus on our core business alignment services.

Scale Computing HC3 is being used by all vessels in our fleet. Every vessel (Pipelayer) is equipped with 2 servers. They are connected for replication purposes. On each server, there are few services running: MS 2016 DNS, DHCP, SharePoint, mail server, company-specific software for maintenance, and some similar bits and pieces of software. Scale Computing HC3 is very convenient to use because of easy deployment and resource monitoring.

We are currently using the hybrid (part flash, part HDD) version of the HC3 appliance in a 3 node cluster. We replaced 5 physical HP Proliant servers running Hyper-V. We are now running most of our business-critical servers on a high performing hyper-converged appliance at a fraction of the cost of some of the other vendors we looked at. While cost was a big reason we purchased, the biggest reason was that we didn't feel like we were being oversold on features that we didn't need or that didn't matter to us. We felt that Scale Computing really catered to the SMB, and we were the customers that mattered. The feature set provided us everything we need, and very little we don't. The sales team encouraged us to plan for the future, but not overbuy. What a refreshing sales process. We ended up purchasing what we need, not what a Fortune 500 company needs.

Scale is being used as the primary virtualization platform running all production VMs as well as a replication endpoint for DR in a data center. We run all server VMs on the Scale platform and then have a snapshot schedule that replicates them offsite to a datacenter for disaster recovery purposes.

Scale devices will replace our internal VMWARE/SAN/HPE environment at corporate and our DR site. Additionally, we will be using it to power 25 (50%) of our bigger retail stores. If this is successful and we see enough ROI we will implement a smaller version of the solution Scale is working on in the rest of the 25 retail stores. I expect this will increase up-time to almost 100% and allow upgrades and changes without issue. Additionally, these units will assist during power events as they have great redundancy.

We have replaced most of our physical servers with virtual machines running on 2 Scale systems in two locations. We will be adding a third in the next year. We run domain controllers, file servers, email server and application servers virtually. We have a DR solution by using the remote connections. Additionally we use the snapshots to protect against malware/ransomware attacks.

HC3 replaced our organization's single server allowing for multiple servers to be built and maintained for separate uses. Going from a single server to nine has allowed Intervine to grow while protecting resources, increasing security, and streamlining processes. With ease of duplication, server buildout, and scaling, Scale has been instrumental in our organization.

In a multi-site, highly secure industrial control environment, we needed a solution that would simplify administration, provide test/development cloning capability, N+1 redundancy, and allow for host replication between sites for disaster recovery. Scale's HC3 delivered everything as promised and the solution truly is easy enough for a non-system administrator to manage on a day-to-day basis. Scale is an absolute home run for SCADA/ICS infrastructure, and offers unprecedented flexibility, especially if upgrading from a non-virtualized infrastructure.

We initially purchased Scale H3 to shrink our physical footprint on servers and allow for affordable expansion across the entire district. This has allowed us to to lower maintenance costs as well as increase our server count to more evenly disperse services resulting in faster operations. We have also been able to create a reliable and ultra fast disaster recovery plan will little to no data loss.
