MarketingOS helps demand generation and ABM teams target and convert leads into buyers through insight-driven orchestration and personalized engagement across multiple channels, including display and social advertising, email, SMS, and more. MarketingOS also turns websites into digital storefronts—through enriched forms, unique visitor tracking, and human-first chat experiences—to help improve on-site conversion and to tighten the relationship with sales.

Using MarketingOS, marketers can run display and social advertising campaigns through ZoomInfo’s proprietary demand-side platform and social integrations to target specific professionals, job titles, levels, or functions at in-market accounts exhibiting buyer intent. MarketingOS also features an in-market predictive score that ranks where prospects are in their buying journeys, informing how and when marketers should engage with prospects based on their ranking and helping them to prioritize their outbound efforts on prospects who are most likely to convert.

ZoomInfo was used for prospecting and lead generation. Looking for buyer cues and correct contact information for email and phone campaigns.

I recommend ZoomInfo because it is a good product, easy to use and pretty accurate compared to the competition. But it is not for everyone because the price point is higher than the competition in the market.

It is a great product, with a lot of value and higher quality than the competition. But it is hard to reach an ROI unless you sell higher priced solutions or increase leads substantially.
Getting the correct customer contact data is crucial and helps with B2B sales, social media campaigns, drip marketing and email campaigns. ZoomInfo helps with those things but you really have to put a lot of time into the investment in order to get your ROI.
ZoomInfo is easy to use and navigate, plus is more accurate than the competition. But the price per license is the highest on the market and not affordable by everyone.

We have several use cases for ZoomInfo at AOT Technologies. First is Lead Intelligence & Generation. Finding in-market Leads within our ICP is hugely valuable. The second is lead qualification. Inbound leads are assessed using Zoominfo to qualify them at the top of funnel.
Lastly, Sales and Leadership use the platform to gain insights into market behaviours.

  • Pricing - right now they are leveraging incumbent status
  • Leads in Europe and SEA are lacking
  • Intent data is interesting but often out of date
In a larger organization where a Sales team needs to quickly qualify leads, or gain more information about top-of-funnel leads to personalize outreach, Zoominfo is great.
It is less appropriate for small teams on tight budgets where you might struggle to see the value in a premium enterprise solution, that takes a certain amount of bandwidth from your team to leverage properly.

Definitely some great features there, Zoominfo has built a solid platform that is truly enterprise-grade. I gave a 7 because I feel there is a point where other solutions offer similar features at a lower price point. They might become too big to stay agile enough in the market.
Retargeting has been huge for us in maintaining that relationship with leads over the buying cycle. In software this could be 12 months or more - tricky to call out direct ROI for individual campaigns, but we have at least half a dozen contracts from nurture campaigns.
Zoominfo combined marketing automation with industry-leading lead intelligence. This was a no-brainer for us.
