ActiveCampaign is being used to run automations at my organization and to recover add to carts, engage our clients in constant communication with new product updates, payment options and YouTube videos.

Mailchimp

I selected ActiveCampaign against Mailchimp because it has the integration with Shopify and makes the process much easier to track sales, create goals and integrate with Shopify in general. The main disadvantage is that it's more expensive.
