Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now

Our organization uses ADP Workforce Now to manage payroll, HR, and benefits information. Employees can access their paystubs and tax documents for previous years, as well as change their tax withholdings and documentation. Our HR department is able to change the home screen to add important information when benefits re-enrollment begins or when tax season comes around. HR is able to link documents to the home page that are useful for employees.
  • ADP does well with organizing employee documents and pay statements.
  • Relatively simple navigation compared to other management systems.
  • Customizable home dashboard to help employees navigate the system.
  • Too many clicks to get to pertinent info.
  • The home screen can look messy. Better design options for those in charge of customizing should be available to make it more visually appealing.
  • Passwords expire frequently, or it is difficult to log in. Many employees are unable to access the system due to user errors.
  • Not friendly for those who are not as technology literate.
  • Positive: HR documents are easily accessible.
  • Positive: Benefits administration. Links and resources are made available for employees without needing to contact HR.
  • Negative: some employees cannot get into ADP easily (password expires, cannot remember their password), therefore cannot access the very important info.
I’m not in HR. - I have realized that there are times I do not need to bother HR for documents. HR is able to put things up for benefits re-enrollment without meeting with faculty groups individually. Faculty members that can figure it out on their own are able to do so, which saves HR time that can be spent helping employees that need more assistance.
ADP Workforce Now is much easier to use than BambooHR. I remember BambooHR was underutilized in the organization I was at previously, and it was difficult to navigate. ADP is much more robust and easy to use in comparison. It is customizable by the administrators to be able to work best for its employees. Our HR department can customize the homepage to make pertinent documents and forms more accessible and easy to find.
ADP has many solutions for HR and employee management. We are able to use it for employees logging hours each pay cycle. ADP is well-suited to be the one-stop shop for any organization looking for an employee management system that can clock hours and also contain important payroll and benefits documents. It is less appropriate for a large organization with those who not are as technically literate. We have employees that are unable to access ADP frequently because it is a secure system, and locks out employees who cannot remember a password.
