Overall Satisfaction with ADP Workforce Now
We are currently using this product in our manufacturing facility as well as corporate offices as our HRIS software for payroll, reporting, and accounting detail.
Pros
- I like the user friendliness of the software.
- The tutorial videos are very helpful and well done.
Cons
- It would be great to have an attendance tracking capability for assigning attendance points for unexcused absences. We have an outside software for this and it would be helpful for ADP to have one within their product.
- The shift changes here are difficult in ADP wherein an employee clocking in a few minutes early, near midnight (3rd shift employee), ADP shows the employee working on the day they clocked in vs. the actual day worked which starts at Midnight. This creates confusion with the supervisor who approves it because it appears to show the wrong day, even though it is not. It is a matter of training here but is confusing.
- It has permitted us to see where our dollars are being spent on overtime more clearly. This permits the managers to adjust the labor cost with the flex of the business.
- Headcount data is clearer with instant access to metrics and data, the managers can make better informed decisions.

We use it to assist in the tracking of our employees' attendance, vacation and for discipline associated with the achievement of attendance points. Managers receive daily alerts on their people which permits them to stay on top of the attendance policy and ease of use when administering discipline with prepopulated disciplinary forms with data from ADP inserted in the discipline.
ADP had a more user-friendly platform for the price.
