Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT

Our organization uses Raiser's Edge NXT as our fundraising CRM. This is how we manage constituents, donations, events, and track our relationship actions for constituents, including mailings, meetings, emails, and other outreach.
  • Quick view of constituent profiles
  • Easy to add relationship actions like meetings
  • Easy to see giving history and giving details
  • Setting up customized, advanced workflows and automatic triggers/actions
  • Using the tool as the email client for our prospects and donors
  • Easy constituent view for fundraisers to use
  • Marketing and analysis reports based on appeals, etc
  • Creating lists to segment constituents
  • The easy to use marketing reports help compare appeals and campaigns and give insights on how to make improvements, what to spend more time and money on, and what to pull back from
  • Currently testing the new workflows to send triggered emails to donors under a certain amount--to save some time from sending them one by one
The analytics that come with the tool have not been very useful; I'm not sure we've been able to use it at all. We had to pay extra for Target Analytics to get more robust data and import that data into NXT.
There were several modules that helped get to know and use NXT well, and it was particularly helpful for me and our database administrator, who took most of the modules that were available.

Do you think Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Did Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT again?

Yes

If you are just starting out or have a smaller fundraising operation, you can probably get by with NXT. It's easy to set up your database and add constituents. It seems like it's still being improved with new features and functionality; some which you would expect they'd already have for the higher cost.
