Overall Satisfaction with Chartbeat
We use Chartbeat to monitor live (fluid) recurrents to our website, other sister publications, and specific sections of our website. Chartbeat paints a picture of exactly who is reading what at any given moment, as well as how our site is performing on the whole at any one particular time.

- Traffic direction/generation
- Can load too slowly
- Positive - all staff can see how any content is performing in real time
It is a hugely beneficial tool as we can, basically, see what works and what doesn't, as well as having an idea as to which content needs more love ie social pushes etc
We can give content that is performing fairly well some additional pushes, and content that fails to reach a certain readership level is noted and it is unlikely to be repeated - at least not in the same format
Reader loyalty is of the utmost importance so being able to see dwell time is great. It is a big asset to have engagement time as well as page views
