Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Webex Meetings

Our company offers software training and support to our clients, and most of those sessions are conducted via Webex. We also use Webex with our colleagues in different departments, but not all employees have their own Webex account. Prior to the pandemic, we offered on-site trainings as well, but our clients were responsible for the travel expense, so Webex was a cost saving alternative, yet still a very effective platform. In the post-pandemic world, Webex became even more essential for our business. Some clients have their own preferred online platforms, like Zoom and Teams, but I am so used to using Webex and it is my go-to and personal preference.
  • Screen sharing.
  • Remote control.
  • Email invites sent easily.
  • Invites automatically added to the Outlook calendar.
  • Unable to silence the beeping sound when muting or unmuting.
  • Remote control is not available when the attendee joins from the web.
  • Client satisfaction from using Webex as our primary training tool is priceless.
I strongly dislike Zoom, Teams and Skype for Business. If you don't have the premier packages of Zoom, the features are so limited. The screen sharing never works for Teams and Skype for Business, if you are attendee. I use the regular Skype for my personal use and the screen sharing doesn't work either. As I stated previously, it may be because I'm so used to using Webex but all of the features I need work best on Webex.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

I never experienced any issues accessing the meetings.
I'm not an admin user, so not sure how involved it is to add more users but I'm happy with the way my account was initially set up, so no complaints.
I notice some delays with page loading from time to time but not enough to be distracted. I always explain to my clients that our software could perform a little slower than normal when using Webex and they understand.
I think Webex is well suited for any scenarios where face-to-face interactions are needed, such as meetings and lectures. It may not be suited when hands-on experiences are required, such as medical procedures and science labs. I also think it's not well suited when the number of attendees is larger than 10. I think that's true in both in-person and via Webex as that interaction is no longer personal.

Cisco Webex Experience

I have not experienced any of these features. I don't think our package includes any of them, or at least I'm not aware.
Our company uses another provider for calling and messaging.
Webex meetings meet my needs very well. I open my personal room first thing in the morning and am able to send a quick invite [from] the room, if needed, but for most of the time, I send a personalized invite to my clients and its seamless integration with the Outlook calendar is very helpful.

Cisco Webex Meetings Support

The response time is very fast via email. Most of the time, they also follow-up with a call but I usually need my questions answered via email.
I think their support emails are bit bland and impersonal. They may think it's a good idea to list all applicable managers in their emails but that's not really all the important to me. In fact seeing so many people listed makes me wonder if I'd have to contact someone else to get my question answered or problem resolved.
ProsCons
Quick Resolution
Good followup
Knowledgeable team
Problems get solved
Kept well informed
No escalation required
Immediate help available
Support understands my problem
Support cares about my success
Quick Initial Response
None
No - Current support included is enough for my needs.
Every time I contact them, they respond quickly and always follow-up afterwards to make sure all of my questions were answered. That's a good customer support.
