ClickUp Really Does Save One Day per Week!
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Our marketing team of 7 people uses ClickUp on a daily basis. We switched over from using physical folders for our myriad of processes and projects before COVID in 2020. We each have a different function on the team so a project that originates with one person will see two to three other people before finalizing it with the originator. ClickUp allows us to QUICKLY pass projects to each other, EASILY check the status of projects, and gives our supervisor a window into our workload at any time without her having to interrupt us. We have certainly saved one day per week using ClickUp, if not more. The number of emails is SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. I love the fact that I can review a draft without checking email or logging into the server since I have the ClickUp app on my phone!
Pros
- Task Management
- Automations
- Communication on tasks
Cons
- Speed - especially when creating new folders or tasks (although I expect this will no longer be a problem with CU 3.0!)
- We have definitely saved money in hours worked vs how much we pay for ClickUp. I am not able to quantify this, though.
- ClickUp is fun! It's fun to set up and visually appealing. The little things, like the fireworks animation that appears when you clear all of your notifications, seem silly but it's fun and it reminds you to give yourself a pat on the back.
Since we only use this within the marketing team of our office, I cannot comment on our organization as a whole. However, our local marketing team works well together and ClickUp was a natural progression for us. It also provides transparency, which is one of my favorite things!
We have significantly reduced the amount of paper we use! As I mentioned before, we used to use a physical folder system that we would pass around. Instead of piling folders up on my desk to deliver to the next person at the end of the day, I move them along the process in ClickUp, giving them an immediate notification that something is ready for them to work on.
