Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
Our company utilized a different task management system for quite a while. That system had a number of limitations. ClickUp has taken task management at my organization to a whole new level. The ability to assign multiple people to a task has been instrumental in getting our customer success team organized for effective account management. Our team is completely remote and our account managers are responsible for managing customers that are often in different states across different time zones. ClickUp gives us the ability to automate account management, streamline efforts, collaborate, and share status updates with team members no matter where they are in the US.
Pros
- Multi-assignee collaboration on tasks across various departments and disciplines.
- Allows for integrations into commonly used products such as Gmail, GCal, Slack, Zendesk, etc.
- High flexibility in template development and space settings.
Cons
- There are limitations on form development. Forms do not allow for much customization.
- Need the ability to have multiple "Closed" statuses.
- There is a limit on the number of automations that can be added to a single automation flow.
- The ClickUp platform does not allow for emails to be cut and pasted into the email feature making it a timely effort to add multiple email addresses when sending emails directly from ClickUp.
- ClickUp has allowed us to save time in the onboarding process for new employees. 30-60-90 day plans are clearly laid out and were developed in less than a day using a modified ClickUp onboarding template.
- I have personally been able to save at least 4 hours of task management time per week using ClickUp.
- The automations that have been put in place have allowed our team to automatically estimate time and LOE for project management.
We are now able to collaborate consistently with product teams on action items, implementation tasks, issue resolution, and overall customer relationship management by either using ClickUp directly or through the various integrations we have in our workspace. Now teams can communicate via comments and tasks which are visible across the entire organization in ClickUp instead of only communicating via email or Slack leaving limited visibility.
- ClickUp has allowed our team to quickly identify/prioritize tasks, reducing the need for us to reach out via email/Slack to obtain status updates.
- The automation feature has made it easy for us to update statuses, manage time tracking, and cut down on time for approvals.
- The integration with Gmail allows us to add tasks and make comments directly from email, saving us from having to log in to a separate app to quickly address customer concerns, requests, or issues.
- Ability to assign multiple assignees to a single task and ability to assign comments
- The ability to send emails directly from the ClickUp platform
- Integrations with all of the core software tools we use on a daily basis
