Use ClickUp to Level Up Your Content Creation Game and Eliminate the Need for Email Communication!
Overall Satisfaction with ClickUp
We use ClickUp to manage and track our social and digital media content creation pipeline. This allows us to see the status of each content piece (in progress, needs edits, scheduled, etc.) along with who is the lead designer. It also eliminates all the back-and-forth email communication as the comments section for each task can be used to deliberate and delegate tasks/next steps (serving the need for tracking and following up on our content creation cycle).
Pros
- Clear to create and understand multiple views like 'kanban', 'calendar', 'list', etc.
- Track context for tasks by being able to add sub-tasks, comments and attachments
- Assign tasks to users and provide clarity to all team members on project status, timelines, and priorities
Cons
- More 'roomier' or intuitive UI - there are lots of features and they can be hard to find at first
- Have more onboarding/training videos for folks new to ClickUp since not everyone is a power user
- Release ClickUp 3.0 sooner!
- Implementing ClickUp for our social media and content creation management led to the successful elimination of using ALL email communication on this project.
- Reduced onboarding time and training time for our Design/Content interns by 75%
ClickUp has reduced the need for email communication and streamlined collaboration for our content creation team. We are now able to go from ideation/brainstorming to the first draft up to 2-3x faster. By tracking tasks effectively and providing context (through the description and comments section), there is lesser context switching leading to using only one system (ClickUp) VS multiple (GDrive, email, and Slack).
Clickup reduces the need to have multiple software for managing a project by providing features like comments and auto-delivering notifications when users are tagged. Further, it integrates with tools like Miro and GDrive eliminating the need to replicate tasks/content in those systems. Ultimately, project members only need to use ClickUp in order to stay updated, know what to work on, and track progress.
ClickUp is a more robust and effective tool for project & task management compared to Trello because of the following reasons: Its effective use and customizability of 'statuses'. The UI/UX for more intuitive and easy to use. Greater number of features and a lower or comparable price point. Availability of document editing and management capabilities.
